cops dont worry about JA and his dogs because he doesnt do anything illegal with them. why would you assume otherwise if youve never met him or the dogs he produces? asking a group of people that have never owned the blood will get you nowhere. if you bought a pup before bashing one, youd know it was 10 times the dog yours is, and worth 20 times as much.

before you start down talking a mans line, why dont you ask the person you bought your dog from about JA and his dogs, im sure he'd tell you he's a stand up guy and the dogs are far superior. he didnt know what he was talking about regarding his dogs background until OFK let him know. flametree is still using the same family of dogs he was when OFK schooled him. flametrees first priority is geronimo and dixie being in the pedigree, doesnt matter if its 1/16th and from 20 generations back.

if anybody doesn't think that these dogs produced bulldogs that produced bulldogs that are still producing bulldogs they got a lot to learn. If you look back far enough you'll see that that they still the blood behind some good dogs today.

As for the ofrn, I'd say it depends on who you get it from. I personally never seen any all that great but that don't mean they ain't out there.

I'm a firm believer in the best blood for any particular line is out there. I like to think that it is hidden for a reason and certainly wouldn't be broadcast on a board like this.

 

One of the best dogs I seen was an OFRN/Termite cross dog. Ch Deucy was an incredible animal, I saw him make Ch and I would feed a dog like that filet mignon every dam night.

 

The Kingfish/Turtlebuster-Norrod or whatever you want to call it, were always suppose to be fastlane dogs with no overdrive, it is like driving a sportscar in a quarter mile. The run the 1/4 mile and that is all they have! I don't care if Norrod himself gets on here and says the same or denies it, these dogs many times never had to show "G" because the weren't bred for that. These are win, lose or draw destroyers. Never heard about a pure good one in todays standard, but crossed and that seems to be better of the evils. If the dogs today are the same as yesterday, I don't know but I would like to hope they kept the line true to what it use to be. Hemphill dogs today are joke if you are considering performance animals, period end of conversation, beautiful conformation and looks but in no way can it match the quality of dogs today. Nice collector dog to say you own one, kind of like the going light barney blood I had, it was more of thing to say I owned before I died because of growing up reading Stratton books. Best thing you can do is make your own opinion instead of depending on a forum to help you pick and choose your yard! Just to clarify, there were some TB that had shown their "G" from N and also KG but not to many ever had a chance to do so. % just weren't there in terms of "G".

 

I think your post is very naive to say the least. How can you make a blanket statement about a line of dogs that have proven themselves for a very long time? Plus, just cause you don't hear about them in your neck of the woods, doesn't mean that someone is not winning Confirmation shows elsewhere.

As far as Iron line, he posts here and I for one look forward to reading whatever he puts out here for all of our benefit. As you know, many don't do illegal things with these dogs any longer. He being one. But, if you think that he doesn't know about the line and there specimens, your off your rocker.

 

Littleblack dog, you ain't from the midwest, that's obvious, cause if you was, you'd know for sure that Turtlebuster dogs can compete with anything out there, don't matter how long or how short of a night it is. Only reason gameness is questioned in TB dogs is cause the good ones usually don't need to prove it. If you knew anybody who got them straight from the source, you'd know they swear by a TB dog. It's just like anything else, the farther from the source it gets, the more it gets watered down.

 

You will always find haters in every line. Some of it stems from jealousy or misguided info.

For the ones who runs their mouths about I.M.'s dogs, I just have a few questions to ask.

1. How many of his dogs have you owned?

2. How many of his dogs have you seen?

3. How many of his dogs have you gone into?

4. If given the chance, how many of you will put your money where your mouth is?
