yes originally he was supposed to be down from outlaw, but that was because they didnt get papers from Gus owner because he never got the pups, but he was DNA'd to prove his ped..

Jane was also dug up and proved to be his mother as well.... His current pedigree is indeed the correct one.

I had a female I wound up culling. Gorgeous dog, great little worker, sketchy as hell with people. Sucked....

 

Cowboy is no longer a recognized CH. SDJ stripped all B-Line Knls dogs of their fake titles. B-Line was outted as the biggest fraud in SDJ history. This is all fact and was proven. I love some of the Wildsides stuff but I wouldn't touch anything with Cowboy in it!

 

WRONG,if you have the SDJ where the "petition" was printed by the SDJ, with something like 50 signatures on it, Cowboy WAS NOT one of the dogs listed on the petition. B Line was outed, and so were a bunch of their dogs. again, Cowboy was not listed as one of the frauds on the petition!

No Gus was not DNA Tested. Just Calamity Jane was dug up.. Calamity Jane was Bred only twice. One to Lucifer and One to Gus. Lucifer was tested. And was not the sire. So seeing she was only bred Twice Gus was listed as sire. That's what I know. (But i was told that a son of Gus that T.R had was tested and it matched up with The same sire.(GUS) so that's how they found out the sire to Cowboy.) Don't know how true that is but D.N.A don't Lie..

I love mine down from that stuff and Im as hard as anyone on a dog and they work out for me. I dont see how they could be any better.I have fed game dogs over 25 years now and have had just about every thing thjer is out and I have seen some great dogs and mine are as good as any good hard mouth ruff dogs that are deep game and above avg in just about every way what else do you want to feed. sure some will stop but so will every thing else.

 

cowboy was the dog that started the petition barney fife couldnt find anybody who saw cowboy matched. barney fife was looking for someone that seen him matched, if your happy with your cowboy dogs thats great and good luck with them

i don't know anything about what he threw but i remember that cowboy was known as a fake show dog back in the day. i remember visiting ed's with a big name dogman years ago and him commenting that he couldn't believe there were all these people there trying to line up breedings to a fake show dog when there are so many high caliber dogs available to breed to. im sure a lot of people like his stuff but i know two different people that were very high on the stuff from that yard, and bought a lot of dogs from him. they were very rough, talented dogs. these dogs were looked at really good and several made it to the show. just about every one of them quit eventually.

 

Who made the statement that Cowboy was a fake show dog and they couldnt believe "all these people were lining up to breed to a fake show dog?" I know Ed wasnt saying it, so I hope you are ready to put up the proof! Cowboy will always be a tainted dog, but this thread and thousands more have went through this crap already.
