I.M. you have told me a few storys on KoKo and Dutchas (another bad bitch , more recent) Who was youre all time favorate male you produced? One you consider an ace? Also You still attending the Chicago Show? If so I might have to take ya up on youre offer.

 

c2k when i bred the dogs together i got from I.M. one of the males looked like he could of been a litter brother to koko and did he have a mouth on him.... he acted the same way he would bait other dogs to get close to him on the chain they could never reach. he was like his mother a ball of fire he played rough... like i said looked just like koko same color same white in almost the same spots....

what do you mean he would bait other dogs in?

i remember a guy that brought a dogs to be bred to my gramps (this was when i was about 12, years ago) tellin me when we were watchin em hump, that he's seen a lot of dogs that would act all happy & peachy with a waggin tail to act playfull to get a dog to come close to his spot and as soon as they could reach they would snatch em up!

thats just what that reminded me of.

It can be if the trolls stay away. I'm of the opinion if there is a problem with a dog, contact the person you got it from before going on to a public forum bashing.

 

I am. Her half brother Ch. Iron Spike R.O.M. was bred to the fewest females to make the R.O.M. list of 6 females.
KOKO produced 3 champions in one litter when bred to Frasure's John 2xw.
BTW that is a female, not a male.

 

According to I.K. I think there was to many to name but the one that comes to my mind was Ch. Iron Bear who I.M. raised his whole life and seen more then any dog should. You will never see a close up picture of him because his career started early. Then again dogs like Reckless Red, Iron Tony, Ch. Iron Bobcat was believed you had to kill every hair on their body to stop them. Braddock, Lil Red are 2 other dogs which were the same way. There is one now that walks the same way as these dogs that just being around him and watching you are in ah.

Is I.M. going? Yes, his old road dog will be there and they haven't seen each other in about 3 or 4 years. Many other old friends. The Chicago show is one he has always liked going too. Some of the best old timers, now and then, will show up.
You need to go. If you can make it around you should ride along.
He will be driving his antique New Yorker.

 

Well you should have one. Gr. Ch. Koko was in your dogs' pedigree and was family bred from her on bother sides, meaning your male and your female pedigree.
As you seen, you know it when you see it and when you know it, you know got it!

 

Hey C2K you would be surprise how many pics of Iron dogs are floating around the internet, I even found Ch. Iron Bear who looks just like Gr Ch Koko ( Double Knockout), it's a pic of Ch. Iron Bear alone, May I post it for the Iron dog Fans?.

Here's a funny question, how come Muhammad Ali didn't have "Iron" in front of his name? instead of Norrod Iron Muhammad Ali, it's Norrod Muhammad Ali. :confused: What was the best dog produced out of the Mo' Ali x Gr Ch KoKo litter?

" The Book of The American Pit Bull Terrier " also Iron Taffy is on Page 173 and on Page 217 is Iron Spike. If you don't have the book, you can find all 3 pics on the internet.

 

that isnt accurate about iron spike being bred to the fewest amount of bitches to make rom. there were and are others who did in in less.

 

No need to post Bear's picture and he didn't much look like Koko to me. Koko was a silver red and Bear was a red brindle. Bear was a taller dog.
I have pictures of me holding Bear as a very little pup.
Taffy whelped the litter at my grand mother's house, which I now own. The picture was taken at his father's #4.

Why Muhammad didn't have "Iron" in front of his name, back then there was only UKC worth anything, UKC only allowed so many spaces in a name. Also back then you couldn't use a kennel name, as when I name the kennel back in the early 70's as Ironline Kennels. In Bloodlines when they printed the add in the 70's it was Iron Line Kennels. LOL

I also have pictures of me holding the litter after Taffy whelp again at the same house. When they got older, some where passed 8 months, I took Koko and Muhammad to Dan at my father's house in Henderson KY.

thereajudge, I think there is a confusion. Spike was breed to the fewest females in his "whole life" to make R.O.M. No dog was bred to less females then him and be a truly recognized Journal R.O.M. Every dog on the list, when it closed at the end of 2005, had been bred to more females then Spike in their "life time"...

 

BTW, fact, if there is a show Aug.14 & 15 in New Lenox IL. I will be there and if all is possible I'll bring Dan along and maybe Mark who kept Peaches as a farm out, off Billy Boy and Missy.
Dan likes the CCM people.

Who knows maybe I can get owner of Red Danger to be there too. )))))

 

thats great to see that koko had 3 ch in one litter she looked like a very tough dog. you start looking at the whole line and see the ch and gr ch you see very easy IM knows what he is doing thats not hard to see. like in my females line i don't think i have ever seen as many ch or gr ch in a line.that speaks alot.


if i wasn't so far south i would love to come up there to some shows. maybe in the next year or so when i get another few from you IM...

 

K.G. as you know that group of dogs, I keep a low profile with by not allowing those out to the public anymore. Cheif_Kergin was up a few years ago and saw how few, about 17 at that time, now about 13, that is left from the family the female is from. I do believe Ch. Iron Bear was also in those dogs pedigrees.
