Everyone always talks about doing something, myself included, but doesn't nothing while the dogs we claim to love are being wiped out. I think its time to stop barking and start scratching. What i purpose we do is make video's about what is really going on. Get together with dogmen( and dogwomen of course) you know and talk about the bust of innocent men who have had their lifes work and source of income taken away due to crimes they were found innocent of. Maybe post them on a website and eventually make a big documentary, hell i'll edit the damn video myself. I know a few journalist and people in the media that would jump at the chance to help. If organized and had good stuff i know that ii can get TV time. We have to expose HSUS and all those other BS organizations and educate about our breed. Its achievable but i want to know i have some support before i start making phone calls. Maybe get interviews with Ed Faron, Floyd Boudreax and PatPatrick. Lemme know if we have any members who aren't camera shy;)

I am all for it, but there is one major flaw to your plan. Pit bull owners are a divided group. On one side you have people who think there is no pit bull without the "pit". On the other side you have pet bull owners who feel the "pit" is the blight of the breed. The vast majority of pit bull owners fall in between. Some have apbt's as pets and don't mind the matching of dogs and others match theirs and could care less about what pet bull owners and breeders do with their dogs. The ones in the middle are left to choose which side of the coin to back. Think about our current political climate. Most people are not completely liberal or conservative, but they are only left with the choice of one or the other. Back to the dogs; the Patrick case is a good example. On one hand you have a long, long retired dogman and on the other you have people like Diane Jessup, who I think assisted in taking Patricks dogs.

Talking is so much easier than really doing something.

in trying to convince others how much they know and how little others know. Too much arguing about dog size and color.

Things will continue to go downhill until the people who care for the pit bull decide the dog is more important than them looking good or sounding tuff on some forum.
