    Hello,

I have been talking to the owner of Diamond C Kennel(in Allentown, PA), answered the application, and am getting ready to make a deposit. I wanted to get some input on that kennel if anyone knows them or has dealt with them in the past. The lady seems great and she has great looking dogs as well.

    Thanks for any info.

Just looking for a family dog. My wife and I like the taller slender versus the short stocky look. I think we found what we were looking for, I just wanted some input on the actual breeder if anyone had any.

I do belive if you look at this sites gallery most dogs on here have the taller slender look. 99% of american pitbull owners on here do NOT like the short stocky bulldog type. Good luck w/everything and i hope you find what your looking for but i persoanlly do not know the breeder..i can tell they breed for show and their dogs look good. but i'm sure those dogs are high dollar and if your just looking for a family pet..then let me ask you this..why don't you save one from a rescue? Some of the most beautiful dogs i have ever seen are rescue dogs!

“Just looking for a family dog.”
Have you considered the possibility of getting a rescue? Since you’re just wanting a “family dog”, rescuers have all dog/pups of all ages. Being you're just wanting a family pet, not like that's a hard bill to fill.

I agree Texasbulldog, that kennels even has a link to a rescue group.

I am going to put a deposit down for 1st female.

I have thought about a rescue, but I would rather get one from a breeder, where I know where they came from, just my preference I guess. Some of my previous dogs have come from the pound(2 rescued cats right now), they were fine dogs, just wanted to get one from a breeder this time around and of course I want a puppy. The price isnt too steep either, so I dont mind.

    Thanks.

If you want to pay for a dog I would go with a good game bred dog and not a show bred dog. Game bred dogs have a better tempermant and look.

Why dont you try adopting a puppy?? They give the puppy temperment tests before letting it go

I know this is an old thread I just wanted to state that you cannot judge a kennel or dogman by there website. Dogs form this yard have excelled in ADBA conformation, ARBA conformation, Therapy Dog, Canine Good Citizen, Rescue dog, weight pull, hog, and earning their right to be bred.
