The Happy Hour Thread

Damn, Naustroms! You know how to drink good beer! I like Fat Tire a lot, but I like the same company's Hoptober better, although it's seasonal unfortunately. And Sweetwater 420 is a pretty good beer, too.

Generally, I'm a huge fan of anything with a big hops flavor.

This is what I started out with, a good ole' easy-to-get stand-by:

And this is what I usually start out with, but I'm getting low on supply since it's seasonal so I'm trying to save it as long as I can, not to mention I had to drive an hour to Huntsville to buy a case off a guy just to get it. It's my favorite beer ever by far (and also a 10% alcohol beer which is a treat when you live in stupid Alabama. Thank God Free-the-Hops passed):

Eightball that is throwback to my mispent youth. Can't stomach it now. Flat tire, Sierra Nevada or just about any German beer.

 

how about some mickey's, colt 45, or st. ides. i cant drink none of that crap anymore. that was them younger days when strapped for cash.

 

I'm keeping steel reserve mad real far away from me lol. I can handle OE and King Cobra but I'd rather buy 2 22oz Yuengling for $3 than force down a 40oz of that shit.

As for beer I prefer Heineken or Fat Tire and for liquor I drink Cognac (Hennessy & Coke or Remy Martin on the rocks). I've never acquired a taste for Guinness, but snakebite was ok. :dogdrink:

I'd be very interested to try the Hop Hound myself. I need to see if I can find it...

 

It's pretty damn good. Not a world beater but it was only 6.50 for a six pack. Almost drank the whole thing last night. Drank three yesterday, knocking back a couple of the Fat Tire tonight.

Cheers with the RM CTG. Almost picked some up as my third but I haven't tried the Mothership Wit yet so I decided to give that a go.
