    Hey all.

I experienced this before, but i believe its getting a bit worse.

Just 10 mins ago, i was walking my dog. Suddenly she stops, and she makes that puke move, and suddenly some kind of saliva comes up from her stomach. I believe she had some kind of leaf in that saliva too.
When we got home 2 mins after, she ate and drank and she jumps up in the couch and then she cough. The coughing she does sometimes. That saliva thing ive experienced before 1 time.

WHat is it? What should i do

    Help

be aware if you are cuting down on the food they will start to throw up foam but if you aint then you should worm that sucker....happen to me last week she is all good now

  4. The coughing is a sign of parasites (it could be bordatella but I doubt it is). Along with the throwing up those are symptoms that your dog has worms and has had them long enough so that they have migrated into its lungs. Unfortunately your dog will never achieve as much air now as he could have since those worms will never go away, they just lay dormant in all the muscle tissue taking up food and oxygen for the rest of the dogs life.
Since it is a strong possibility that your dog is heavily infected with worms I would suggest you worm it with only a half dose the first day and a full dose on the second day. This is because the worms will release a toxin as a self-defense mechanism and killing too many at once can poison your dog so do only half the first time and see how the dog reacts.
I would also suggest after you have the dog fully dewormed you treat it for coccidia the week after just to be on the safe side.

No no no cant be TRUE??? :S The previous owner told me she had worm cure.. Hmm

So now my dog will be sick from rest of her life?

Hmm.. So i give her a half dosis of the worm cure first day, and a full on the second, third, fourth etc etc?

how old is the pup first of all?

for a good worm schedule you will need to get ivomec, pyrantel pamoate, and fenbendazole.

Or since you obviously dont know how to take care of her take her to the vet unless you cant afford it. The vet here out in the countys pretty reasonable on prices. And yes your dog has worms.

Just another thought, Is she wearing a collar and pulling while on the walk? When I first got my boy he pulled so bad that he would puke up that saliva crap and since he was choking himself constantly he would cough too. I know for a fact my dog did not have any kind of parasites then and does not now. Simple obedience training cured my problem.

  11. Dogs don't just get worms once. They get them periodicly throughout their lives. They need to be wormed regularly. Dogs are always carrying around some sort of parasite sometimes it doesn't bother them and you'll never see any signs and sometimes it'll be obvious, its just part of having animals in general. If she is coughing up yellowy substance looks kind of foamy that is a good sign of kennel cough.

My dogs will sometimes do that funky gage throw up, when they get car sick, or when they have an empty stomach... But worm your dog anyhow, sure can't hurt him.

that happens if you arent feeding enough or something lodged in throat too.

Yes actually this only happend whenever ive used a collar instead of a harness. And she cough while she pulls the leash. So would that might cause the "Puking" and that saliva crap.

But anyways im taking her to the vet tomorrow, to get all cleared. My pup is 6 months old weight 20kilo gram

And for those who judges me to be a bad owner, screw you. Im giving her my life.
