ADBA processing

just wanted to let everyone know of my most recent experience registering w/ the ADBA...it went just like it has for the past 20 years...

i sent 2 dogs reg. papers out on feb. 11, 2010 via USPS priority mail (less than $4)
i received the paperwork back today, feb.25, 2010

14 days, only 9 working days including mailing

with that said- i really cant see why ~so many~ people have issues w/ the ADBA, saying that it takes "months". im not a big fish for the ADBA and my paperwork comes quick and correct every time.
preperation might be the key- clear and concise writing, all info correct, etc, etc.

 

i hear ya about the month long wait. must of been some chicken scratch or around holidays but you got them in about the normal time i used to get them. i dont worry about it cause i dont register my dogs anymore.

 

I've had it take a couple weeks and I've had it take a couple months. I have no complaints with the adba if you want your paperwork faster pay for the rush shipping.

 

I have never had a problem with them ever.

 

The ADBA always gets my paperwork back in 2 weeks IF I pay the extra for the rush service. One time I didn't pay for the rush & it took them FIVE MONTHS for me to get my paperwork back. No lie. I always pay for the rush now. lol.

I got my papers in 2 days. But I also paid for the fastest shipping available.

 

me to i got my paper work in two weeks

 

don't know why you posted this RR, but id agree with you anyway. i think the only time a problem may arise is when someone doesn't fill out the app. correctly or doen't send the correct money etc.
ive never heard of anyone having a problem, hell, three weeks for over sea's mailing also.......tops.

 

I always do the rush so I know when I'll get the papers back. Otherwise, I'll forget and when it comes time for a show I like to be prepared not calling ADBA in a panic.

 

because every few months it comes up about the ADBA and how "slow" they are getting paperwork done, thats all. just wanted to prove, yet again, that if everything is up to snuff-its actually a pretty speedy process

 

Yeah, up to snuff AND you pay the rush fee. THEN it might be speedy. Otherwise, not so much.
