keep feeding it just make sure you freeze it then feed it some roos have bacteria in them and freezing it kills it. besides deer and emu its the leanest meat known to man, great keep food.

in all my years of feed'n roo, never had a problem. nice lean meat. always feed it fresh mate and never had a problem. fark give it to em live lol...it worry em none lol.. people worry to much, dogs are meat eaters:rolleyes:. the ol' underground mutton aint bad for em either.
ive been feed'n both meats raw/fresh for near thirty years and never had anything wrong with any of the dogs, and they are always near thier conditioned weight.

lol...not bad for a protected species ay.
if your lucky and own property, you are able to cull so many per year. depends on where you are and what you got;)

  6. Probably 80% of my dogs diet is Roo meat and bones,he loves the stuff.I learnt pretty early on that I also needed to supplement the Roo with some type of fatty meat or include a fat supplement because the Roo is so lean.

personally ive never had an issue with it either but ive heard a few horror stories from greyhound racers having a whole yard of twenty or so working dogs messing the whole kennel areas and rendering dogs useless for them too race for more than two weeks. and frozen was the preference for that crowd when i used to sell game meat.
