Thats wats wrong wit these bully owners.. They able to register those thangs under the same register as the same breed so they believe that they are true in nature..NO SIR INDEED THEY ARE NOT

are you saying that a razors edge blue dog can be registered as an amsaff or and a true american pitbull terrier?

  4. a dog dont know his pedigree or his color only what he is trained for. the two biggest colors i see in bullies right now is blue and red. so if you ban the blue you will have to ban the red as well. they are not popular yet but i have seen some pics of black and tan bullies as well. tudor was said to have blue dogs in his pedigrees go back and research Dibo. the bullies are making it harder for a lot of colors but especially the blue, i know where there are some nice blue dogs that are 40-50 lbs and act like an apbt not a bully. to me color dont matter only working ability and that is what we strive for. i have a blue dog that is not bully, and i have red dogs but it is disgusting me what is being done to these colors and actually the apbt in general.

Yes they can be and are being registered in UKC, and ADBA the only registry registering them for what they are is the AADR

Well bullys shouldnt be registered as anything...

they are not a breed and cannot be a breed of dog because they are not the same genetically... just similiar in looks. Your bully might have neo. mastiff in him, mine could have french mastiff, someone elses could be pitbull and staffbull and some american bulldog. So how could they all be registered as the same breed or even have a standard that requires them all to have the same temperment when the dogs in their background are so different?

Yes, they should be thrown out of the adba. The color blue is a GENETIC FAULT and can have offspring with skin issues.

But talking about this is pointless, the ADBA wont eliminate the blue dogs. Because that will decrease there revenue. (Blue ADBA dogs being registered+the advertisements in there magazines+show entries ETC, all those fee's add up)

how is it a genetic fault ? its a dilute of black... just as there are varying degrees of other colors?

A blue pit bull is a genetic defect The problem is these people started to breed these dogs just for color . That means They are no longer American pit bull terriers the same goes for anyone who breeds for any reason other than gameness . bully breeds THEY ARE MUTTS and should not be registered with APBTs . Look I dont care if a dogs pink six legs and nine eyes if hes game breed them other than that cull them .

It's far from a genetic fault. It's a dilute. And if you cross too many dilutes, you end up with a lot of issues - including skin issues. But a lot of other colors can be prone to those issues - like the demodex mange that dogs get.

How can you possibly throw anything out? How can you throw out blue without throwing out red? Red dogs were being bred similiar to blues in the 90's, only the internet boom wasn't like it is now for advertising them.

On another note, with the game being illegal, how in anyway shape or form would you be able to tell which dogs are being bred for gameness and not a physical trait such as color, size, etc? Anybody who is breeding for GAMENESS would not want to be on any such list in 2010. The only way this will ever be solved is if Bully owners become proud owners and want seperation and not want to be associated with the APBT because they love thier bully... in about 10-14 years this shit will be cleaned up... all the registered dogs will be dead lol

see the color blue isnt the problem as i stated before its just a dilute of black!! the fact is NO BULLIES SHOULD BE REGISTERED AS APBT no matter what , its a different breed( a mutt)!!! but a purebred apbt that is blue should be allowed to be registered np as it is not a genetic fault at all . the only thing that should be allowed to be registered as an apbt is an apbt reguardless of color plain and simple!!!

like i said theyre are legit blue bulldogs without all the issues.
theyre rare, but theyre out there.
so again, no i dont think they should be thrown out.

they are a different breed so they should be registered as that. you wouldnt register an english bulldog as an APBT would u ? now the breed registries need to do pedegree checks and theyll clearly see that the bullies are mutts i dont understand how they can even be registered at all?? wtf goes on?!

i agree with you laced 100% , but they should in no way allow the american bullies to be registered as an American pitbull terrier or an American staffordshire terrier either.

Because they come from pitbulls, and real sires are not posted as so on the pedigree... so you can never tell what that dog is mixed with. Only person who knows is the person who bred it.
