Conflicted Colby or Beaudraux

The Chef is right about that breeding of Redboy as I was told by someone I trust about him as well. And I believe Corvino had something to do with Redboy too. Anyway, just the name "Redboy" should give you a good clue as there were not many red, rednose dogs back then and one main family of dogs known for those traits (hint, hint).

Also as was stated before, there are some very good Colby dogs still left. I think the most successful cross with the Colby dogs were bred by Heinzl and were a Tudor/Colby cross that was very successful in their time.

I had a good colby/heinzle cross back in the day. He was a real good bulldog.

why on earth would you want a fastlane type dog to catch? more times then not they will hit bay before they hit hog. from my experience a fastlane type dog don't catch they fight the hog & that's not a good thing. there are way better dogs then fastlane for hunting hog sure when young they may look great in the pen on a pig. but give it some time & you will run out of bay or fastlane hog dogs. a dog is only as good as the folks behind it. you can get a well bred dog from B or C & it may amount to shit or you can get from pooky from around the way & have a real world beater. some advice find some folks that have what you want spend time getting to know them learn what you can. don't rush out & buy shit because it's popular.

Just wondering, cause TL Weaver had some of the best Colby, Vindicator, and crosses between the two.

 

there was a coment about colby dogs being watered down lol, wow that's all i say about that one , any person who know's a bit about these hound's know's if u mix colby dog's with any thing u will get good dog's period, ive herd it from people who know a thing or two about a thing or two with these dog's, just cause people dont talk about um on the computer dont mean any thing lol ive herd the gambler say virgil was part colby him self but who knows' with that jeep was 50% colby so who ever made that comment about jeep n how much colby he was sham on u lol dam , lou will tell u there aint many hunting but there are n there good, the colby dog's mature slow n if u do your home work almost all the old timer's let there dog's mature to wht they were for the full benifit unlike alot of people doing wht they do with pup's a dog is a pup until its like 2.5 3 yrs old , know the boudreaux dog's are awsome just as well i actualy have both line's n have afriend who has some old mayfiled stuff wich realy get's down played from the cyber world , you also hear smack about the heinzal dog's to lol wich i intened on geting one in the near future bottom line is every time some one says some thing ,you say a respone to it n then they have some thing else to say o boy give credit when it is do , not every dog is a game dog but most nearly every dog is a colby dog in some form one way or the other ,id rather have a dog wich i know is breed honestly n straight up then second guessing wht's behind it or whos behind it doing wht , ive also never seen a colby dog sold for a 100$ i do see on these pet site people saying there dogs are this n that with some bull s#@t ckc papers or wht ever they have , again any one who realy repects the breed n the people behind will give credit to the coby dogs of yesterday n to today n in time to come fact!!!!!!! o yea coby dogs dont come red red nose lol the back yard breeding thing is nothing but novies trying to make a stamp on the map , n if there realy in the dog's they will see it's not about puting pup's out there n geting that $ but haveing a good yard with criter's your proud of n every breeding better's the breed one way or the other n have a goal behind it n over all to please your mind n the direction's u wanna take your family of dog's, with these hound's ive noticed over the years these dogs attract the best of the best n the worst just go to adba show youl see wht i mean lol id rather get a dog from some one who aint trying to make a buck n could care less who know's how good there dog's are or how much they paid n id rather deal with people that are straight up n respectfull n honest about there dog's shore every one has skeliton's in the closet but dont we all lol a good dog is juut that a good dog n every line has good n bad dog's n people who are just trying to make a buck off there name look at boudreaux dog's after he got pinched i seen his name all over the net selling his name come on people lol im proud to say my boudreaux dogs are awsome n breed out the ass n come from a good dude n when i asked floyd we had a good talk about um n just made me feel that much better about um , same goes for the patrick n farron dogs today $$$$$$$$$$$$ n people will say wht they want about them as well !!!! thats enough from me n i dont normaly write on the computer much
