North vs south

When speaking to dog men in different parts of the country i feel were speaking different languages. In south la we have heavy boudreax,carver,bullyson etc, i was speaking to a dog man in mich. And he never heard of l.g or dsk which i found real odd then i didnt know about busenbark or shady lady line. I feel im missing something, i seen a guy from maryland come down here with dogs off rukus and really make some noise. Please educate me on dogs in your area.

I've seen more than a few motor city crack house dogs give folk a good surprising

 

We have a ton of wildside dogs and fake chinaman dogs around my parts. But most run with the wildside stuff. I never been a fan, but to each his own. JMO

 

Im from Flint Mi and most of the dog men up there Run of Nicco, Nicco Jr, Playboy, etc most of us breed for gameness but there is a few people that may run turtle buster, or some old school eli stuff. But u can find alot of other lines there. Just depends on what u r looking for

 

When I was up in "yankeeland" (as they call it down here) I saw a lot of Colby dogs, Turtlebuster dogs & Loposay dogs mostly through the Red B. stuff. I also saw one yard of very nice Sorrell dogs. I'm sure there are more, that is only what I saw.

 

down here there's a LOT of jeep/rb. and sixbits/maverick . the Boyles stuff is gettin big down here too. and there's the less knows sealer stuff that hasn't left

seems like at adba/aadr shows and shit though everyone has sorrells

 

shady lady and rucus were deep south dogs not to far from LA. most folks in my area use dogs down from carver,floyd,shaw,tant, becuas they were all just a few states away.

 

yea i forgot the tant rb/jocko and shit too

 

Here I am in La. All I have is Carver and some with a Tants outcross in the 4th. A ton of Beaudreaux, I used to have some Beaudreaux, but not at the moment. I will be getting another though. I know someone with a good bit of Sorrells old stuff.
I am familiar with all the bloodlines, just not first hand.

 

ive heard of ghetto and shaw, has anybody seen dogs from OS ive been into these dogs since i was in high school, i was 17 when i got my first dog from floyd boudreax not long after that i was off to bert sorrells house at that time he had ch raisen and sailor on his yard. but they were not exactly what i wanted,i was young and did not know about crossing etc, i found the best dogs were in texas because one man had gr ch banjo,gr ch bb red,gr ch gabe just to name a few instead of paying high puppy prices pay 750 to breed to banjo, dont get me wrong the guys in my area with all the pistol pete stuff were good also but never delt with them..

In Jersey I see a lot of Jeep/Tant/Chinaman pups for sale.

 

I to am from LA that's Louisiana. I agree with you labulldoger. Boot Camp Click, LG, DSK, Floyd Boudreaux, Jeep, Banjo, BB Red, Redboy, and Rascal was all running through the Dirty South.
