Sanchez Vs Bj Penn

What do you all think the outcome of this fight and why, I believe if anyone has a chance to give Penn "nightmares", its Sanchez, this guy is like a game pitbull lol, he just keeps on coming full force,all 3 rounds or 5 if needed it be, I know probably Bj Penn will take this, but if it goes the distance, there is a very good chance Sanchez will come on top, regardless , I will be rooting for Sanchez...................

Penn all day. I've liked Sanchez since TUF but Penn has always been one of my favorite fighters and he's an all time great. I think Sanchez will get outclassed in this one.

 

Penn is on another level to these guys....he is so under-rated! Penn has no conditioning problems anymore! Sanchez is good i'll give him credit...but Penn has been playing with the big boys for a long time...he just so dominant at 155lbs.

I love both of these fighters, Sanchez is so explosive and fun to watch, has boundless energy and you are right, he reminds me of a game dog.

BUT...

Penn is a master, the only person I've ever seen give him problems is GSP and that was not in his preferred weight class, and when he was being a half ass about things, not training properly etc.

I got Penn to win, he is very very underated as outlined by STPFan, the reason I got him to win, is that he can bang with Sanchez better than anyone Sanchez has faced before, and even if Sanchez gets the better of him in stand up... anyone who says Penn is not superior in take downs, take down defense, ground and pound, BJJ etc. is fucking delusional. I totally expect him to bang, coz he likes to, but at the end of the day if he gets clipped or see's its going to be too close for comfort on his feet. Look for a BJ Penn submission - the guy is just a class above the rest when it comes to BJJ skills.

 

sanchez might take it but bj penn is tough to beat so i dont know :confused:

 

BJ has this in the bag...Sanchez does bring toughness, energy, and conditioning...but the fact is he is technically inferior to BJ...his only advantage maybe a bit of size and wrestling, but does he really want to be in BJ's guard? i do't think so, I'm predicting 3rd Rd TKO or Sub

 

bj is to experiencied for sanchez much better fighter . And more well round to

BJ ins't Under-rated at all, people know he's an ace and future hall of famer. BJ is number1 and will prove it again in devastating fashion.

 

Gotta go for Penn. He has the second best rubber guard in MMA (1st Aoki). And his stand up is sick. By no means is Penn under-rated. He dominated in other weight classes too. Sanchez can not and should not be slept on. He's a monster too, but BJ has the upper hand.

 

penn by ko or sub.....only way diego can win is ko.......penn got toooo much ground work for him......exciting patch up tho......

 

Diego's stand up is terrible. BJ will beat him at every aspect of the game. BJ will sub Diego because all Diego will do is constantly shoot for takedowns. BJ will take his back and choke him!

 

Diego's a brawler and a wrestler. To an extent that could hurt him against BJ (the stand up brawling aspect). Look at what BJ did to Joe Daddy Stevins

So Bj Penn proved to be the better man, but he did not submit or ko Diego, if it where up to me, i would of let the fight continue.

That was a hell of a nasty cut. Penn dominated the whole fight. Diego didn't get one take down.

Herb Dean did a hell of a good job ref'n too.
