the male has border terrier

they are crossed to make them smaller for the den work in Australia.. becasue the ones were imported were large for the ,most den work here so they were crossed.

That male looks good. But you crossed with border to size down? Borders tend to be a bit too large to go to ground. I do love a proper sized working border though. Good luck with them.

 

Oh man! You have all three breeds intermingled there that we were considering at some point in the future! lol I had never heard of border terriers until I hooked up with this other CF mom about a homeopath for my daughter through a dog homeopath. Turns out she breeds them so we had so much in common to talk about! I never really pegged myself as a ''small dog person'' as I always saw them as purse dogs, but these little buggers I could get into! lol

sure mate i had 2 sent them back was using them to cross for pig hunting dogs the bitch would be approx 18mth now a friend on the nth mid coast nsw breeds them but not cheap that bitch pup would be $800 if your keen pm me other wise quite a few down vic aye cheers

 

yeah man i " more like the dogs" get so much attention by the ladies, especially the male.

that male is a pimp. lol. and his prey drive is amazing. a mini apbt lol.

also i dont like taking them to dog parks, especially the female, she is dog aggressive, and she think she is bigger than a boxer lol.

thanks. they are very active and full of energy , i gotta walk them almost everyday to keep them quite, they will bark all night if u dont exercise them, too much energy.

true, i said before if i ever get anything other than an apbt, it will have to be a working bull terrier/terrier breed.

i guess he has good size border terriers.

man it actually amazing move i did, from apbt to patts " or crossed patts lol" . actually the breeder told me they are pure, but when i showed them to other terrier men, they said it has border terrier / jrt.

u wanna get patts, do u want to hunt foxes.. if yeah than i can let u know when there are puppies for sale.

sure, im gonna work them hard, and im trying my best to get out with guys who hunt foxes, so far no luck, but i will keep aksing if any experience guys from vic are willing to take me with them fox hunting.

the guy in nsw, is he the one wit the nuttall blood . i heard some dude has dogs with nuttall blood in them. thats all i know though lol

the enemy of the breed now are those who want the dogs for show. and have no interest in working it.

so far idiot proof, but not from potential show breeders.

uhh i will kill myself if i see patts in the show ring... competing against the AST lol.

 

Not wrong, i almost craped out a chilli plant when i saw JAGD terriers are now being shown in NSW.

till than i advice to go out with fox hunters and learn from them until u get your dogs.. its niot easy though

im invited to go and hunt foxes with some dude, in couple of weeks, im gonna take only one dog, i will take the male. i think the male will be a good dog, but only time will tell "
