How can you judge an entire line by one dog? Eli and all the lines within that family of dogs have always been top notch.

We were kidding, have a sence of humor. :p
With that said I think my favorite "line" of dogs is the Chinaman strain through eli jr. They are know to be quick, agile bulldog's with above average mouths. I'm an eli man for sure but if i had to choose one line to stick with forever thats who i'd go with. Any one on here run the earl jr. stuff? I've heard a ton of good things about them theres not alot of it up by me, maybe in the future ill get my hands on one of those.

Southern Kennel's Gr Ch Mayday ROM
<!--Freetext-->Mayday and his siblings were all impressive and well built but Mayday alwaysstood out. He was BIG, CONFIRMED, and fearless, He walked out of the vanas a puppy after the long drive, barked, and marked my kennel as HIS territory right when he hit the ground. He had a huge head, long ears and barked at the other dogs from the start. His head was always up high. He really thought he was the MAN. He was a happy and energetic pup. The first time we put him in the box, we did it with Ch. Leroy (heavy Paladin) .Leroy was a HARD biter. He got a hold of Mayday's chest and bit hard. Finally, Mayday got a hold of the head and got him out. After that, Mayday was PISSED. For the next 5 minutes, he mopped the floor with Ch. Leroy. We had to stop it cause he was killing him. Of Course, Leroy was pushing 9 pounds , and it was not fair. BUT from that Moment on Mayday SCREAMED in the corner. He really was impressive.

there was alot more story but that sums it up:D:D:D

i would name my favorite but i wouldn't disrespect the man who created it by putting his name on here. it's a well known blood in the proper circles but not online.

I wasn't basing it off one dog.It only took one to change my mind. After that ive got many more.I agree the eli family is top notch, but i disagree that they are hardmouth curs.

    Plumber's Alligator.

Alligator is the first "bloodline" I've researched. I spoke to Gary about them a while back; and he mentioned that he was impressed with the level of intelligence he saw with some of his Alligator dogs. I got the impression from Gary that he handles these dogs differently than the Plumbers did; and he seems to have a healthy respect for them, their strength, and their working ability.

From what I understand, about Alligator himself, he was one of those "ugly, big" dogs that a lot of people never thought much of, at least initially; and he gave a few folks a few surprises. And apparently he was also quite affable with people.

I like a good, people-friendly dog, and I mean really people friendly, outgoing, face-licking strangers, tail wagging, clowning... And I like a smart dog, too. So for me, intelligence and friendliness are a must.

From what Gary tells me, he tries to run the "cream of the intelligence crop", and most of the Alligator stuff he's produced are quite good with people -keep a healthy respect for their ability, and be mindful of them, of course- and I'd very much like to have a dog from him.

If anybody knows more about Alligator, I'd be grateful for any information you could give me.

Then there's Jeep. A lot of good folks seem to swear by Jeep *cough- **Marty** *cough! *cough! :D and I know that they've been consistently in demand for quite a long time. Apparently they're considered to be really great dogs. But I don't know enough about them though to speculate on them, and we're only supposed to post one bloodline anyway LOL
