Richard Stratton Book Collection

How much for a Complete Book Collection go for. Considering that all book are either in Excellent condition or Great condition?

 

As much as a buyer is willing to pay...

 

I got a book or two of his, same thing a friend told me its not about how it looks rather what's inside.

 

Used books on Amazon are cheaper than new books, I payed 120$ for all three books: This is the American Pit Bull Terrier, The Book of the American Pit Bull Terrier and The World of the American Pit Bull Terrier. All books are used, but without any damage.

 

Thats sooo true with baseball cardz to. But I have everybook in the Pitbull collection in mint or near mint condition. Just wondering how much the complete collection goes for due to the fact i just seen the little blue book with Going light Barney go for :eek: 130$shipped in worse condition then mine.

 

i also got some stratton books from amazon all in excellent qualty and a good price too..atb Alza

 

i look for 2 stratton books if u are keen to sell separately of corse ?

 

What about his 4th book "The Truth About The American Pit Bull Terrier"?

 

i got all 3 book for $35 at half price books lol gess they thought they where regular book it was the greats deal i have found so far

 

Can't believe how much apbt books have increased in value, I got all the Stratton books between 12-15 yrs ago at pretty reg prices, two from a local petstore,( when there actually was still some good small business petstores around) and the truth about apbt at a borders bookstore. I think 40 was the most I paid for one . Crazy seeing how much roccas book goes for these days and really crazy seeing Stevens book going for like 400 on amazon , when I'm pretty sure you can still get it direct from him. Apbt books are turning out to my best investment. shame I'll never sell em

 

amazonis crazy on ebay there much better offers i found 1 rocca book for 40 dol, the 4 stratton books for 120 dol and many others for honest prices

 

I think I saw somewhere on the board that Mr. Stevens book will not be reprinted after he was out. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

his wife passed a couple years back, but hes still alive and kickin

 

My ex wife made a killing on my book collection when we split, she bragged it was over 3 grand, lol. FB's $100 Keep vid I had (paid $20 for it I beleive) she sold over seas for $750. Im slowly building the collection back up, shame of it all was most of the books I got from my father and some came from his father...

 

the 4 books of stratton are on ebay now for 140 dol if not wrong

 

I have 4 of his 5 books. All bought from Amazon. The 5th book I don't believe is in print anymore but is available in PDF online. Strattons still alive. He's my FB friend.
