He isn't worth half of an empire....Even being as good as he is...

 

Lesnar would destroy Fedor plain and simple.The only reason Fedor isn't in the UFC is he's trying to keep his Superman status and agreeing to fight Brock Lesnar is a easy way to lose that status.
The only person that is keeping Fedor out of the UFC is Fedor.

Just because he fought a guy that was 7' tall don't mean the guy is a challenge.Most really tall people rely on their reach.Get in close and they have nothing.
As for Fedor submitting Lesnar...
Mir has waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better BJJ than Fedor and Lesnar completely neutralized him on the ground beating him senseless with his cinder block hands and wrestling.

Fedor may be able to stand with Lesnar for a few minutes and yes,Fedor does have very heavy,precise hands but Fedors hands only hurt when they get a good shot.
Lesnar on the other hand...nobody wants to get hit by him period.Look at all of his fights.He takes opponents off their feet with his punches he even crushed Herrings eye socket with his first punch.

Fedor doesn't want no part of the UFC as long as a match against Lesnar is a possibilty.Maybe once Fedor loses and doesn't have to worry about tarnishing his record by getting a loss from Lesnar.He wouldn't even come to the UFC to fight Couture,why would he come now knowing the first opponent he'd probably fight took out Captain America.

Say what you want about my opinion but the facts are there...
Lesnar has the strength,the weight,the wrestling,the takedown offense,the speed and the ability to neutrilize the ground game of BJJ fighters of Mir's caliber.

 

The only reason the UFC might not have 100% the best fighters is because the other fighters in the world won't come to the UFC to let our champions show them they aren't the best or are greedy and want huge paychecks

It's not hard to hype your fighters as the best when almost everyone that has came over has had their asses handed to them by a UFC fighter.

Fedor has absolutley nothing to lose by fighting in teh UFC except his pride.He was even offered the largest contract he's ever had but turned it down because....THEY WANT MORE MONEY!

Eventally fighters will realize if they want to fight real opponents and make good money while doing it,they'll come to the UFC.

 

Random guy. You can't really say UFC has the best heavyweight... I think at the moment STrikeforce has the best heavyweights. There is likes of Rogers and Overeem and so on.
UFC is doing great job as a marketing leader and number one promotion of the world but they does not in fact have the best heavyweights.

There is also some other fighters I would like to see in UFC to prove theis ability like Hansen, Aoki. In their category I think UFC has the absolute top ofn the world but they would make good callenge for the UFC top guys.

Actually the reason that Fedor declined the UFC contract is that the UFC won't co-promote an event with M-1, which is Fedors managers fight company. I don't even think that the UFC would be legally able to co-promote an event in the first place. They didn't want more money at all as Strikeforce actually pays him less than what the UFC offered.
I have to be quite frank here but comparing Frank Mirs' BJJ to Fedors submission skills is like comparing apples to oranges. Fedors ground game is brilliant, hell he beat Nogueira twice and that mans BJJ is far superior to Frank Mirs.
It's funny that you mention Heath Herring. That guy is the prime example of the UFCs uncanny ability to hype a fighter up. He lost against every top opponent that he fought and the only wins he has are against Tomato Cans...and Brad Imes, lol.

 

Well from watching that You Tube vid it kind of looks like some one doctored it up a little bit with the sub titles. ya see how it blots out over something then the bold white lettering comes? If Fedor is really talking Ish like that lol then he should really take his ass to the UFC and break big boy down I seen it done with the Randalmen fight and he was a well rounded fighter and took a drop like no one else No more like a bomb to the head.

 

I would pick Fedor over Lesnar based on one important factor..experience. Brock has little experience in big fights, and Fedor has been doing it for years. And BTW, comparing Mir to Fedor as competition for Lesnar is downright laughable.

UFC dominates every weight class except feather and bantam.

 

Lets see Rampage came from Pride and was a UFC champ. The only person who really beats rampage is himself.

Anderson Silva is 10 and 0 and a current champ.

Dan Henderson was the closest to beating Silva and hasn't lost to a UFC fighter yet.

Nog and The ax murderer are both well past their prime. Silva said it himself he could quit today and be set for life but he loves to fight and he brings a crowd.

Cro Cop did get his ass handed to him.

Herring was never anything to begin with.

Fedor really does have a ton of experience but funny thing is...Lesnar steamrolled Couture and Mir with relative ease,two fighters who have at one time had the belt.Experience doesn't make the fighter,his skill and abilities does.Lesnar is still new to alot of it but as we saw in the second match up with Mir,he completely neutralized his ground game.Lesnar's striking is still questionable but with his ability to take people down with ease will keep most fighters cautious of staying in range to strike for long.

Don't get me wrong...Fedor is badass and he has the best chance of beating Lesnar but so far nobody has been close to even slowing Lesnar.
Fedors best shot is leg kicks,leg kicks and then a leg kick for good measure.If Lesnar gets ahold of him,his 75+% takedown rating is gonna mean a bad night for Fedor.His best bet is take his legs out to stop or atleast dampen his ability to shoot.

He can give up any thoughts of submitting Lesnar.Mir's BJJ is far superior than Fedors and he only got Lesnar once cause he slipped up.
Yes it's true...Mir has better BJJ,Fedor has nothing more than basic training in BJJ.Even though most of his wins are by submission he has no formal training in it,Mir is a black belt in BJJ.

 

And where are they now?
If other organizations are so much better than the UFC...Why didn't they go there?

Fedor doesn't do BJJ so much but he does Sambo. Every other fighter former UFC champ or not Fedor has DESTROYED. Couture was doing fairly well against Lesnar, and Couture beat sylvia in 5 rounds. Fedor did it in 29 seconds. Do you really think that or his other 30 wins were just a fluke. Lesnar is a big guy but Fedor is an amazing fighter.

 

Scroll down a few posts and you will see the link that shows the current rankings.Your arguing a losing battle.They avg'd the rankings of 20 of the top MMA websites.UFC has the most top fighters of all weight classes other than Feather adn bantam weight.

The only reason that Franks BJJ is better than Fedors is because Fedor doesn't train BJJ but Sambo, lol. Fedors ground game overall is far superior to Frank Mirs. There is a reason why Mir didn't want any part of Nogueira on the ground because he would have been tapping like Fred Astaire with a quickness. Have you ever seen any of Fedors sambo fights? He fights the top sambo competition during these fights and still finishes people like they just stepped into the gym.

Personally I don't care for what organization a certain fighter is under but what I do care about are great and interesting matchups such as would have been Fedor vs. Barnett in Affliction, and this weekend Carano vs. Cyborg. I also care about production value and not feeling like the good lord gipped me after laying down a dozen donkeys for a PPV. Unfortunately the last PPV the UFC offered that had me really excited was Liddell vs Wandy and that card wasn't even all that hot. While their prices have steadily increased their production quality has diminished in order to pay for all those big names. As I said, there is no doubt that the UFC is the biggest name in the sport right now but I still don't think even with all those rankings that they have the best fighters in their roster. That's just my personal opinion and it's based on more than just winning 10 fights in a row. In my opinion a true fighters quality is not determined by what happens when he wins a fight but what happens to a fighter after he looses one. Liddell is the prime example here.

That ranking is done by voting if I'm not wrong...
yet there would be only few spots I would like to change.
In heavyweughts Overem I think is way too low and so is Rogers. I think Rogers should be couple steps higher and Overeem above him. I understund why Lesnar is high but with his experience secon... i dunno... but I'm not complaining.
Light heavy, midle and welter I agree.
Lightweight I would say Aoki before Ken Flo, Hansen over Alvarez and Gesias Cavalcante is waaaaay too low. So is VItor "Shaolin" Ribeiro but he hasn't fought for some time... He just came back.

 

Those MMA rankings are garbage in the first place. How can you possibly rank a group of fighters accurately that haven't fought the exact same opponents? There is no way. If one guy fights tomato cans and rakes up win after win and another guy is fighting nothing but the top guys out there but drops a bout or two how can you even compare stuff like that?
As I mentioned before, there is much more to a top fighter than just cleaning shop. It's how you portray yourself inside the ring and outside and how you conduct yourself after a win as well as a loss.
That's why I consider Fedor the best fighter in the world. He always conducts himself in a professional and respectul way. You will never see him showboating like Anderson Silva or talk shit before a fight. He also doesn't need to flip off people or point fingers saying "I told you so" at defeated opponents. That kind of behavior to me is not what a professional or top fighter is all about. That's the behavior of a no class bitch.
