Old Family Reds vs Redboy

If I can create both and good looking dog that is game...that has good conformation, size, and all around good damn pit....I'm saticified....Now if you hold something against that screw ya...But if you notice the pictures of my dogs, ya don't see no f*(kin blues or any of dogs of that nature....conservation of traits of the breed is very important me....if I brought my dogs around yours, it wouldn't be nice....They wouldn't make friends I'll say that much..

I dunno mine have ben selectively bred for a Ghondi-like Yodda-ness that wins over the most dog agressive of bulldogs. Thay are super curs for shure.I bet thay could make friends with even youre "Super-Hyper Dog Aggressive" Dogs.

Stratton is a good place to start out but by NO means the be all to end all. He writes alot of stuff that IMO is fancy tales to 'church up' what the dogs are to the novice.
And while reading a book is nice it means NOTHING till you jump in feet first and dont care when or if you ever come back up. jmo.

 

geez stuff went so left i about forgot what the op was by the time i was done reading everything else. big game woody d take him to the pit, spank him a little bit, and send him on his way. maybe it'll humble him enough that he'll be more interested in learning than running his mouth. woody that dog you posted, i like the top side.
for the op: i like them both. though redboy crosses will always hold my heart. i've had some good luck with them. i may experiment with other lines, but i always stick to the redboy crosses. the are some good ofrn dogs. personally i don't care if my dogs are orange w/ purple polka dots. a good dog is a good dog.
books are ok for info. especially if you're on the pot and need some good reading material. lol the best info comes from those who've been there and done that.

I never said that people don't breed for color, size, or any of that...read very carefully I don't want that sack of feces in between your ears to overheat, and start leaking.
