Can you spot the American Pitbull Terrier??

I am sure many people have seen this but it just goes to show you how many different breeds are mistaken for the APBT. Click the pic you think is right, and let me know how ya did.

I used this web site in a speech I had to give in college against BSL. There was a person in my class that had given a speech against dog fighting and pro-BSL and he couldn't recognize the APBT. Shockingly, most of the class agreed with me instead of him.

Got it on the first try, so did my husband! These are great for the public to see what they think they know!! It is shocking that so many do not know what an APBT is.

I actually picked the pit bull out second try, but only because I thought it wasn't and wanted to see what it was. Lol.

 

First time I saw this was at a local SPCA. They have alot of APBT mixes so they always promote the breed. It was posted to show that just because someone says it was an APBT that did "whatever" wrong their is a very good chance it was not an APBT.

 

I hadn't seen that one, I got it right though.

 

Yea nailed on the first shot....not too hard when you know the dogs. Most of the JQP are idiots when it comes to the dogs, you can guarentee that they will never get it right.....ever.

 

Got it on the first shot comes with the territory I suppose of knowing what a APBT is.

I got it second the alapaha blue blood dog was the first one I picked but I didnt scroll down all the way so I could see all the pics. I never heard of this breed before so I googled it and none of the pics that came up looked anything the pic on the list.

I've only seen one of those in person, but it was a 5 month old pup. Looked pretty much like an AB pup, but a little different head structure; it looked much different than an APBT, but you're right that the one on that page looks more like APBT than probably any of the others.
