that's very true. my girlfriend is in rescuing stray dogs , cats etc and you wont believe how much stuff she gots in terms of injections needles and the like. sometimes she leaves shit like that on the kitchen table and gets on my nerves... not to mention all little bottles from inoculations to atibiotics to cortizone, atropines etc...

america doesnt seem to be a free country anymore... sadly enough, someone rats something and whether is right or wrong you are an elephant till you prove you're not.

i thought the system was you're inocent till proven guilty and not the other way round

Personally I thought the dogs looked in good shape,but I was also wondering something about the catmill.I'm not up on all the laws,so I don't really know.Is a catmill illegal?I've been around a lot of coon hunters that'll put a coon in a cage to get young pups interested.Kind of the same thing with the live bait and all.I was just wondering if it's illegal being the animal is in a cage and can't really get hurt.I know having APBT's and a catmill at the same location will probaly get you accused of stuff but is it actually illegal to have one.

 

I can't believe they have their "expert" calling them guilty on their board before this goes to trial, and expect anyone to believe that any evidence they produce isn't tainted by their obvious bias. I gave them my 2 cents over their for what its worth.:mad:

 

it had a cage from what they said. a jenny with a hide on it. a toy on it. . fine.

a cage on it? what was in the cage? if not live animals? that is illegal.

 

im not sure on the legality of having a catmill. common sence would tell me that just having one in the yard could not be against the law, and the one in that video looks as though it has not been used in a long time/note the overgrowth of grasses around it. now on the other hand, placing a live animal inside the cage to be chased would be considered stressfull for such animal and i supose some could call it cruelty, but i would remind those people that cruelty as stated in the dictionary is : deliberately causing pain without pity, causing pain or suffering.
placing a plastic bottle in the cage is neither......and in short, exercising a dog is/has nothing to do with the above.:rolleyes:

 

It's like dealing with children on those boards. I managed the throw my 2 cents without seeming like an a**hole. I did get fueled too, Marty. if it's one thing i've learned from you, it's about getting your point across with these people without seeming like a total prick. nobody ever takes a prick seriously anyway... though i can be one at times :p

it's clear that these people don't understand the nature of the breed nor do they ever care to. it's impossible to educate them without incriminating yourself in the process. if you own gamebred dogs with any kind of scars.. whether it be a tick bite or a face that got caught in a barbed wire fence from chasing a rabbit or whatnot.. they are scars consistent with dog fighting in their minds. if you voice your opinion on their malpractices, you must be a "supporter of dog fighting" or a "dog fighter" yourself. it doesn't matter what you say, they will always have an answer that makes you look like a complete a**hole anyways. you can't go to war with them...they have more guns than we do. all we can do is bitch and moan...or we can CLOSE THE CIRCLES. keep our yards clean and trust no one. it's a shame this country has caused us to resort to these measures but just having a gamebred animal is reason enough for one of us to be the next big thread here on G-D. i'm not saying everyone that gets raided is innocent but alot of good folks get caught up in this mess in between these "extensive investigations". what will happen when they catch all the big fish....will they break out the minnow traps...hell yes they will.

 

Hunting catalogs sell "roll cages" intended to train hunting dogs with a live 'coon or whatever placed in it - they are even pictured with one in it. What the hell is the difference? I suppose it's that hunting dogs aren't "viscous" and don't "turn on you" and eat little kids...:mad:

The dogs paid the ultimate price, as they do in all these cases. That's all they want...plead guilty or break you financially, wipe out the dogs, move to the next.
