Ofrn?

I am looking to get a quality OFRN male, and was just wandering where it the best place to get some. Most of the places that I find have alot of UKC peds. I know of Ironline, but was just wanting to know of any other places.

Flametree Kennels has some good stuff, pure or damn close to it.

 

I saw there site and noticed that there were UKC PR's in the peds. I know that peds don't make the dog, however, i am looking for complete bulldogs and the UKC makes me think that there are more showy and less true bulldog. Do you know anything about what to expect form there lines?

 

Socks if you looking for a pure ofrn G/D it will be hard to find one ask in apbtpeds not here i have a bitch from flame/inner/larr im happy with her but what you looking for is not here someone correct me if im wrong?

 

From what i've seen out of their kennel are some great bulldogs, but of course as far as game i'm not sure with those dogs i've seen, its hard to find game OFRN anyways IMO, alot of it has been all washed or not used enough to keep it true.

 

most OFRN are show dogs not game but there are some good ones just have to find them:cool:.not alot but they are crossed OFRN.

 

I wouldn't go any place other then ironline for ofrn. no one has done more with that stuff then IM. He is a true dogman 100%. also say RB dogs are ofrn i take his word on that. it is the man behind the dog you want to investe in IM is as good as any

when i hear OFRN i think Morgan, haven't met the guy, but anyone with a dog named Smedley Butler is good in my book.

 

you are wrong. not trying to be an ass but i know this to be false from my own experience. i have 2 males right now who have proven to be good dogs. one's crossed w/ turtlebuster (not my favorite line), but it crossed quite well w/ ofrn. the other one is as pure as they get. i've been thoroughly impressed by him, not exactly easy for a dog to do that for me. yeah i suppose alot of them are used for conformation shows. but if you think about it conformation=performance. jmho

Hey if you have a nice OFRN thats proven I have bein corrected .

The biggest mistake most newbies make when dealing with OFRN dogs is reading a pedigree back to front. In 2009 Ch Centipede will be of no use because he shows up 10 to 20 generations back. When looking at a OFRN ped and you don't see a consistent pattern of real dogman within 4 to 5 generations then you will know the quality (or lack of).

Genes have to be manipulated, cultivated and created in order to improve each generation. This is why the breeder is so crucial because it's his standards the dogs evolve into what they are.
