For those who dont like mexicans taking over contruction or labor you have to stay a step or two ahead of them because they wont all get deported and there still growing. We speak read and write better so we should have a big advantage. Not just mexicans, Asians here in Ca are moving up fast those MFs are really smart people they been making big money and buying alot of property without any english whatsoever.

Probably all my friends families lol. They all live in your area San Fran Oakland and most of them who just got here under 5 years ago have buisnesses, houses, cars and their kids do the negotiating because the parents don't speak english. I know for a fact they are all legal so maybe they are just doing things better then us. I know my friends families all stick together and have a pot of money each family can take from. When one needs cash to open a buisness they take from the pot so they don't have to pay interest and then just pay it back. They look out for one another and are really buisness savey.

 

That makes a great point Victor... And I have known people like that too, matter of fact, have one working at my current job. Legal resident of USA, white lady...milks the gov for everything possible but makes 3 times as much as I do and I get not even a nod from the gov to help me with college and living, even after my hours were cut

 

I hear everyone complaining about illegals, and people leaching off the system, But what really pisses my off is the people sitting in jail enjoying three square meals, tv, and a roof over their head. While there are honest folks out here busting their ass trying to make a living, and Struggling!!!! Why should I have to pay for someone to sit on there ass all day, because they decided to make terrible disscusions all their adult life........:mad:

I might make some people mad but i will say Asian immigrants and Mexican immigrants save money alot better than any Americans i know. Also mexicans wouldnt be crossing illegally if our government didnt allow them to. Border Patrol is said to be corrupt and their not the only ones. Chinese and Vietnamese are getting here legallly thru military or marriage thats why thier numbers increase slower but they do really well here. The only people whining are those who been here forever. I been here forever im not complaining. After 9/11 Security blew up so i got steady work. At work now matter fact thats how good it is.

 

Very true all of my friends are Vietnamese and they do come over slow through marriage or getting sponsered by people over here, but like you said they save ALOT better then Americans and they work and work and work. I have friends who own stores and their parents open at 5:30 am the kids get out of school and go to work to give the parents a break then the parents go back to work and close up at 11:00 pm. They do this every day 365.

 

Alright...first and foremost...

Illegal immigrants from Central and South America are coming here because their own governments have failed them. And you are correct, our government could stop it if they truly wanted to (keep in mind, if made legal, those illegal immigrants = a lot of votes)

Also, there is no question that Americans are horrible about saving...that is simply a byproduct of our culture, a culture based surplus.

First of all...no one is "whining"...we are expressing our frustration at the current clusterf*** that is the immigration problem. The only ones complaining ARE THE ONES PLAYING BY THE RULES.

The problem is the government taxing the people who follow the law to pay for the people who dont. i have no problem with immigrants comming to america if they do it legaly. My ansestors fought and died to make this country and now illegals and lazy americans are ruining it. What ever happened to personal responsibility? There shouldnt be all these government programs designed to "help" the needy.

We need to let the companies that are doing bad fail. Let the people who cant pay their morgages fail. Let the people who can't feed their families fail. BECAUSE you can overcome all that with hard work and if you dont you DESERVE TO FAIL. You have the right to Life, Liberty, and the PERSUIT of happiness. You are not garunteed everything. The only thing you are garuanteed is the OPPORTUNITY and that is slowly being eroded away b/c of all this government regulation and illegals using up all the resources that they are not contributing to.

This country is becoming very screwed up and its been on this road for a while and now with Obama at the helm its in warpspeed. For every liberal or uneducated person posting in this thread there are 5 hard working real americans remaining quiet. We will take this country back. Your right i dont have a book with me and i wont cheat you using google but i understand the constitution, the oldest written document of any government and i thank our forefathers for it because it works, without it we would have a country of injustice i cant even imagine what it would be like. Ive past tests covering every ammendment and i know every Ca. penal code you can throw at me misdi or felony, pc832 arrest search & seizure all of it. I am somewhat educated for never going passed 9th gr

 

i'd rather tax payer dollars go to something that will help them out. ie. protect them from criminals rather than help pay for illegal immigrants to live in houses for free and to pay for their expenses to allow them to undercut people like TripleJ.
