I'm with BR on this . I feed mine chicken meat , chicken back and organs , or a mix of these that like a minced meat , like a paste :o . It works for me and the dogs are happy and good on it .

Feed mostly raw myself. I feed mostly chicken backs every day. two to three times a week i make a mix of veggies ground up, mixed with chicken livers, or some sort of broth. Sometimes i feed dry food if my raw is running low or i am working a lot of hours. the raw is actually cheaper just more time consuming. i dont really supplement with regular feedings. at most i might add some lard, or olive oil for a fat source. I use to get the menhadden fish oil by the five gallon bucket but my source dried up.
If i am pushing a dog its basically all raw, but a good dose of green tripe. I then supplement with dessicated liver, and a multi-vitamin. Very basic, but have good success with it. great posts. really informative. s.
