ASPCA Emotional Propaganda seems to work

    Me and my wife video taped this one day a couple of months ago, We thought it was hilarious, just look at the big bad ASPCA just going out of its way to make the youngins become bleeding heart librals, the little girl in the video is my 4 year old daughter and she does this every time the commercial comes on.........Enjoy guys, we sure did..:cool:

    I personally see nothing funny about this. It really is sad but good that she loves animals to the point that the commercial upset her. Now all is needed is education to tell the difference between reality and propaganda.

    I felt sorry for her. One of the things I find most disturbing about this board is that so many people on it seem to think callousness is a virtue of some sort.


    Feeling sorry for a mistreated animal is a normal, healthy response. Just because some groups sometimes exploit that for their own ends dosen't mean that being cruel or cold hearted is a good thing.

    Shame on you for laughing at your baby daughter for doing what any emotionaly healthy 4 year old would do.

    I think your taking it out of context here, first of all this is something she does all the time because shes sensitive, I shared it with you because it is funny in it's own right, we don't laugh and tease our children don't get it all twisted, we do console her when it happens (as you can hear my lady doing in the backround of the video) and she will know the difference between truth and propaganda. It wasn't ment to be judged (although I expected people would), more to see what will be a cherished memory for us (me and my wife)

    I guess you would just have to know her to appreciate it. when I said hilarious I ment that sarcasticly, She will know the difference between fanatic radicals and people who truely mean well, being that she is so young, it's not something she can fully grasp at this point in time. I don't believe there is anything funny about animal cruelty or anything of that nature, I also wanted to show how well their commercials affect peoples emotions for there hidden agenda, nothing more and nothing less
