Hello, new guy from IL

I've been reading this board for some time now. I wanted to introduce myself and my dogs. I'm from northern IL, husband, father of 4. I just got my 2 pups about a month ago.

This is Kayla. She is just past 7 months out of El Negro x Black Widow. She was shy at first but has come around nicely.



This is Guapo. He is just past 4 months and is out of Santos x Miss Crocodile. He is still a little shy, but slowly learning to trust us more.

nice pups when can we expect a litter?:cool: jk. did not like '' mike's'' dogs? Tg has some nice snooty pups but for 2k thats a pricy house dog. enjoy your new pups .

Thanks everyone for the compliments. I've been reading this board long enough to know most peoples opinion on breeding. At the same time I did not buy these dogs with the expectation that they will NOT be worthy of breeding. I hope to get to know many of you and in the future I will definately be seeking advice on issues of that sort im sure.

I am not familiar with Mike's dogs, but I think I got a good deal on them both.

 

Alot of people are against breeding at all costs but I think it's fine as long as your breeding good dogs,I know I hear all the time about APBT over population,but I'd rather breed a good one than rescue what's most likely a cull.I don't think you'll find many good bred dogs in shelters IMHO.And it don't cost any more to feed a good dog than it does a bad one.Good looking dogs by the way.

 

That's a beautiful bitch you got there. I have a litter sister of your el negro bitch.She was very shy at first but getting much better now except for sudden strange movements or loud noises. It's one of the less desirable traits of this line I was told but she has everything going to be a great sporting dog.Screaming prey drive and very athletic.Good luck with yours.
