Are these prison sentences real?

I got this off another board. is this all true? Seems like a lot of time to be serving for dogfighting

Everyone watch out. It’s hitting the fan out there. With the big game dog breeders mostly wiped out now the government is taking it to the small time guys and handing out huge prison time.

We know from what happened with Wildside Kennels that the feds are sending cops and paid off dogmen onto yards to buy dogs and set people up. Be careful who you sell too. That’s their new tactic to shut down the dog game

I wouldn’t sell a dog to nobody this year. Let the crap settle down Stop peddling pups and lay low, real low. Dogmen getting too much prison time now days. Aint worth it for a stud fee or a puppy sell

that guy in miami lives 15min from me ya he was being stupid and recless.I can tell you onething his dogs were not mixed. He did not register his dogs so thay had no papper trail to go on. He was doing other things thats why he got busted he wont do 10 he will be out in 3-5 but still paints a bad picture for us all.

 

Just a word. Its not illegal to sell a dog, it IS illegal to sell a dog FOR dogfighting. If you sell dogs, SCREEN your clients.

 

Someone with the means , needs to pull other cases theses Judges have tried , like murder , rape and child molestation cases and compare the sentences . I would like to see what child molesters have received compared to suspected dog fighters. We need to come up with a plan , and fight back . Anyone of us can get accused for dog fighting just because the breed we own or because we have syringes for vaccinations , this shit is crazy . I beat if the judges lives were affected and people were siting in front of their houses protesting these judges would thinks more about these unjust sentences. Judges dont care they lock you up and throw away the key and they dont loose any sleep at night .They got their fancy cars , big homes , vacation properties what do they care.

 

that's insane! the worst part is if you were to ask one of those hsus p.o.s. how could they justify advocating such stiff sentences for dogfighting as opposed to stiffer sentences for say child molesters, they wouldn't be able to come up with one good reason. crimes against humans affect more than just the victim. they affect whole families and communities. in the end, who else is hurt by dog fighting? (not saying i advocate the practice) but seriously these men aren't charged with robbing, raping, or murdering. their dogs aren't running wild in the streets killing the neighborhood pets. they aren't attacking children. this dude up by where i live robbed 2 people in one night w/ his posse of thugs w/ a gun. you know what they got? 2 freakin years. that's it. does the hsus mean to tell me that what those bums did was less dangerous than 2 dogs going at it in a competition. i personally have never seen a dog pick up a gun and put it to anyone's head. this bs has gotten out of hand.

 

its often incorporating other crimes or people who are on probation/parole.

exampe #1, you posted 15 years...only 1 of that was for the dogfighting and animal cruelty. he had a 14 year sentence he was on probation for. from the link you posted...

I heard of one guy got 102 years,guess he'd of been better off robbing a bank.Things are seriously screwed up.

good research bro , we dont know the circumstances of the cases but regardless , it helps feed the beast and innocent people and dogs loose their lives. I wish we could do something to were we get our rights back.

 

Its probably time to say good by to the game, and focus on other things with our dogs. I think our situation would improve big time if the humaniacs didnt have dogfighting to campaign against

 

Everyone needs to do what it takes to insure that we still have these wonderful companions around for years to come. Pit bull excel in a lot of activities. Disc, generally reserved for border collies.. is held champion by a pit bull named Wallace. Then you have a champion dock diver named Maximus. And a top drug sniffin dog in america.. a pit bull named Popsicle. Not to mention all the therapy dogs and service dogs who are pit bulls. They can do it all folks!

As for the dog fighting sentences.... thats just absurd!

 

Yeah,the sentences are ridiculous.There's a butt load of people around here selling meth,if they get caught,first time is 120 days,but they better not match a dog though.After while if HSUS keeps going unchecked,you won't be able to go fishing,because the hooks are cruel.Never mind the frying pan,lol.I guess the judicial system just can't get their priorities straight.If you ruin a kid's life by getting him hooked on dope,slap on the wrist.If you have a dog with a scar-watch out.
