i would buy a whole yard of small apbt thats no more than 25 pounds and dig to them.. and then breed them the good one and pick the smallest ones. and later when they grow dig to them and repeat process, till after 20 years all my pitbull will be no more than 18 pounds or bit less..

I love the small dogs. A friend of mine on this board wanted to give me a 19lbs full grown Bolio dog once. She was blind in one eye or I think I would have taken her. Personally i want nothing to do with a hound bigger than 36-37lbs on a chain. The ped lists her as 22lbs but if I remember right she never actually got that big.

hey chdinomyte...you happen to remember how big she was when she was younger..around 4months old?

 

Something for size comparison. Tonka the beast is bred similar to a pup that will not hit 50 lbs., however Tonka is over 70 lbs and growing. I know most people do not like em big. He is a little big for my taste, however I live in ranch country and this boy has what it takes.

not much praise goes out to the little uns ,i personaly prefer the sub 45lbers.25~40 i like ,fast & furious so to speek ! what is the prefered weight most commonly appreciated in the us ? :cool:

 

I personally like them small, I have one thats a week shy of 5 months old and 15 lbs

 

that is small ,no less of a dog i suspect ?
