has anyone ever herd of nkc?

is nkc just as reconised as adba or ukc if i was looking to bye a dog from some one and thay was registerd nkc can i get them adba registerd also and any one ever herd of gator back blood line

 

This is the first I've ever heard of an NKC registered APBT, or the NKC at all.

 

Ive never heard of them either. Chances are that the adba wont take it. Some of those registries give papers on pics alone so good thing your checking it out.

 

I just heard about this registry about a month ago from a guy who owns a pup registered with them and in my opinion looks more american bulldog than anything else. I later come to find out they are a registry soley for registering apbts and american bulldogs. They even register dogs with an 1/8 of a different breed. Say you have an apbt that's 1/8 am bulldog they will register it as apbt. Not good at all.

Where did you get the info from? The NKC has a lot of shows around my area. I was considering using them. All I really know is they are a hunting dog type registrty started in 69. I was under the impression they were an open registry that required visual inspection of dogs to register. Eddie Falin is one of their judges (in Pikeville, TN I think). That's about all I know about them.

First I Heard Of Them.

 

I have been registering my large boned blood line with nkc im also an offical nkc inspector just to let you know i do most the excepting of dogs and dont let just anything and only 100% pure breds that can prove it are alowed.Also we register every breed.also my pits were the most regitered and they are old carver blood.and this regitery will be just as big as adba and ukc just give us some time i also have adba lonzo dogs so dont think im just saying this

same here and i've been in the dogs 21 yrs. ( adba/ ukc/ then bkc ) but never the nkc.And yes chances are way more then likely the adba won't reg. those dogs.

 

Large boned bloodline? What line would that be? Just curious.
