They have 1 legit CH., that being CH. Grim (3xw) but they also have Blu Trouble who was also a 3xw. I think they may have some 2xw, but you are right, the majority are 1xw. But even having some 1xws is a million times better than 99.99% breeders of blue or blue factored dogs. Most of the other breeders have nothing but 0xws. lol.

One thing that does make me think though is that Grim, a black dog, was awarded his CH. but Trouble, a blue dog was denied his. Was it b/c Grim came along after ST got her stuff together went into legit comp or was it b/c as ST says, they denied Trouble b/c he was blue? Even if he went into push overs a 3xw is still a 3xw is it not?

I've lost track of what happened since her last go-round with the law. Whatever became of that? Did they find her guilty of the charges or innocent? Does ST even have dogs many more? Last I heard they were all seized. :confused:

 

WOW... It's amazing the amount of times i've seen this same stuff on so many other forums...lol... I personally have TNT dogs & know of others & they are great working weight pull dogs & show dogs... That has been established by many others already... but I have also heard of plenty of crossed TNT dogs that are more than 1,2,& 3xw's... But being that dog fighting is illegal let's all just leave it at that..:cool:. If you really want to know your not gonna find out here on a public forum...... do the research & footwork needed & you can find that and many other information you'd need (not intended directly at anyone posting here)

 

This is true. There are others working the TNT blood who have had success. However, what has been previously posted is also true ... you won't find it on many *serious* hunter's yards (at least I haven't heard or seen it there) & have heard many a serious hunter say they wouldn't own it & that is was "a joke" (their words, not mine). But there ARE people most certainly successfully hunting with it as well as pulling & showing too. As I said previously, if you stack it up against the other blue stuff out there the TNT line comes out on top hands down, but I would never compare it to a truly game bred line.

 

ABK thanks for your knowledge of the tnt line i have learned alot about the line through you because you have had on hands experience with it and you saw the questionable dogs up close.
the old tnt stuff is bad news but the new stuff out there is the truth and should be respected. not everyone wants to put up a pedigree with numbers and colors to prove what they have but its out there. for those of you that question it it is time for you to turn off your computers and go check out some of these dogs, its what i did and now i respect them.
Roe got some nice dogs and they are working hell one of them is almost a weightpull champion and rolex all i can say is he is nice good all around dog with the Eli fire!
i have some pedigrees of true tnt match dogs but im not the one to put anyone's business out there so you guys will have to do what i did and what others have done and get out the house and look for these dogs.
like i said there is a new "tnt" dog out there and they are not coming from tnt kennels but from gamedog kennels, no famous dogman of course but lets face it they are already set in there ways.

now that im on the subject of tnt, steph is doing good and rebuilding her yard, she saved one dog from being killed cause she happened to take him to work with her the day of the raid. i dont know too much of what she is doing as i have not called her in awhile.

for those who want TNT stuff,its on the ground and available to those who ask for sure,no recommendation needed,and for e.fallin,i mean,WORKING DOGS,theyve done it and thats enough explanation.not my choice for a game bred dog,but a good dog non the less....JMO

any dog can make a catch on a hunt if another dog isn't bred for the criteria,jmo...

 

how many dogs got winning records out there? now how many true bulldogs are out there?
it seems like there are more wins these days than actual good dogs.
everything is a 1xw or 2xw but i bet it wasnt against good competition just competition and i think thats what ABK is trying to say.
the truth is most dogs quit after getting bit a few times so any dog that was willing to do it for any amount of time and come out on top has proven they had it in them. the true test for these dogs is to go into something with a hell of a mouth and see if they quit when it hurts.

this is one of the dogs seized, she is thriving in foster care with the rescue that has her- she was one of the lucky ones

What I was trying to say was that what happened to Trouble lent credence to what ST said. A black dog, Grim sent in 3 reports & got his CH. A blue dog, Trouble, sent in 3 reports & got nothing. Now either ...

a.) ST was right & there was some prejudice against blue dogs.

or

b.) ST's detractors were right & the reports were faked.

But if Trouble DID indeed win 3 contract hunts & the hunt reports were accepted by the recognizing authority, he should be awarded his CH. like dogs of "traditional" colors were. As has been posted previously, it would not have been the first time a dog caught against inexperienced competitors or even had their rival comp spot-picked for them. But yet they were still awarded their CH. But the blue dog wasn't.

That's what made me go "hmmmmmm."

But I will say this - if what ST said WAS true, I have to give a little respect to her. Even though she got started wrong, at least she was doing SOMETHING. 99.99% of other breeders of blue dogs won't even test to see if their dog has any drive, let alone let them catch. They don't hunt, show, pull or anything. They only breed. Now if ST WAS faking the reports, I have no respect for her, b/c if it's one thing I don't like it's a deliberate liar. (Not saying she is, just saying IF she was.)

And an ironic point to ponder - as ST got more serious in the dogs & started infusing her program with true game bred dogs, she started producing fewer blues & owning fewer blues. As a by-product of breeding for serious catch dogs, more blacks & buckskins began popping up & the blues began to wane. Just an interesting tidbit to think on.

 

OK folks stop beating the dead horse already.... no matter how many times you swat at the dead horse the flies are gonna be there...lol... Lets move on, as many times this has been discussed we all come back to the same thing... The dogs are worth having if your pulling them & most are very good conformation dogs also (if not blue...) The blue dogs don't really get looked at the same way at an ADBA or AADR show 'cause they are not used to seeing them and assume they are bully bred or what have you... now I also have a 50/50 Boudreaux/TNT black dog that has earned BIS & won plenty of ribbons for the ADBA & has 57 points towards his Ch title there but mind you I did say BLACK... so when I show him there are no questions as to what line is he in the judges or any1 elses mind... i get asked what line is he if they are interested in him & like him in general, but sometimes I still get "The Look" once I say he is 50% TNT...LOL.. He's a great puller also but very hard headed & he won't pull for me... to finish off I have had plenty of other dogs pitbulls and what have you, & the TNT dog is the 1st dog I have attempted to do WP & shows with so It has worked a bit for me but I too am working at washing out the TNT aspect of the dog & add some more game stock in to further amplify the working, tenacious, drive & overall "Gameness" of my dogs...without the fighting of course... so to say the least I have a very nice black dog that is looking for a new home so he can get his Ch title & I can open up a spot or 2 for my future & my other dogs futures...lol

 

I wasn't beating a dead horse, I was just saying if the reports were accepted by the recognizing office then he should have got his cert. If they even THOUGHT any funny business was going around they should have stopped it before things got out of hand.
