Only way he is best son of Skull is if Sonny Boy isnt Skull's son as he was originally off Muletrain on his certificates. Other than that the Iron mike dogs aren't doing anything new or different than any other line or kids off Skull. Nothing magical or special but as I understand your stud dog is down from that stuff. I believe the Badger stuff has out performed the Iron Mike

 

Ive seen a boatload of quitters from the iron mike stuff down here with my own eyes

 

I had a pup of of K&T's Renagade/Jackie but she died and I lost track of the people.

Last owner of Sunnyboy told me he was off Skull and he has no reason to lie to me.

 

Well he lied to u buddy!...sonny boy isn't off of skull...rock n rye is indeed right...he is off of muletrain!

I've heard that and other stories as well. I wasn't there so I can't speak on it. However, DG went into detail about sunny boys origin on peds online and no one disputed him then. This was when folks were saying he was down from Bull. Either way sunnyboy was all bulldog and lil sonny is his spitting image. I like what I have down from his son bubba. One can only guarantee the authenticity of breedings they witness not hear about. yis

 

Let's just say I know a man who has been with Original owner of Sunny for basically both of their lives, well over 40+ years and he gave me the skinny on how Sunny was bred and I think he knows better than DG, Dr J and any of those other ones as he was witnessed to Sunny schooling and original 4 documented displays as well. He also informed me of why Sunny was sold versus being kept, and it's not that Sunny did anything wrong he was awesome from all accounts, at least he was up north, the hearing is that he did hour down there into some dog I think Tab stuff Cant remember but Sunny didn't show mouth n power he was famous for. When he was with them brothers he never went past 30. There was never another dog like Sunny or close but I hear them muletrain dogs still throwin that same power and rough.. I know how Sunny is bred I know he not off Skull.

I kno DG myself and he will tell u he's off muletrain!.....I don't kno why he didn't tell u this but maybe u need to go sit and have another talk with the doctor!...he might have disputed about sonnyboy not being off bull but not muletrain!

 

Good enough for me and maybe he did during our talks (as I said above I heard it before) you hear so much about these dogs over the years that it's hard to process it all. I haven't talked to DG in a minute. I need to call the "young man" and see how he's doing.

 

I will second that on badger. HBK I have a son of badger and will hunt.

 

Our dogs come by way of Skull/Badger/Llantas and we are satisfied with them so far. We get a good percentage of game dogs however the percentage of those that are show worthy could use some improvement,, which luckily is on the right road as we are getting more of them in the litters as time goes on.

I had interest in breeding my bitch to her uncle Hankey, who I was told by more than a few is a true and honest bulldog. Another one I was interested in was Chance, although he is half-brother to Skull.
Also, I have a "thing" for those mutts out of Sweet Pea, I don't own one but wish I did.

I read a post where someone mentioned their dog won over one of Llantas daughters. This is an error, the bitch was not off of Llantas although she did carry Skull in her pedigree 4 times. But there were/are sons off of Llantas that did lose their shows and there are some that won as well. The last one to lose was to Ch Merengue I believe. My bitches brother lost to a son of Sweet Pea and our Luchita bitch won over Ch Kuba in her first then lost dg to Ch Negrita. Her red sister won over LRK in a long one but didn't make it to the next day. Plenty of dogs that lost if you want to find them, but so far there are more dogs that have won than lost too. It's all part of this game.
