How do you feel about the bailout?

What are your feeling on the 700B bailout plan? They just approved and signed off on it today?

I am against it.

I am not for bailing out big businesses nor citizens who were irresponsible with their money and business. Plus too much govt. interaction if you ask me.

 

Lost my ass in my 401k last week luckly I'm not 65 and on the verge of retiring. Something had to be done... Plus the money is being paid back with assets from the companies and not tax payers. I need to read the bill for myself though.

 

$700 billion? lol... Try $850 billion. What's more is the pork they're roasting in the bill.

Here's my prediction. Everything gets better momentarily while money gets printed out because there will be a false sense of wealth. After that runs out we'll be going through the same thing we are now, only on a much larger and dangerous scale.

Notice Obama. Only in the Senate for ~4 years and already taking 2nd place in the past 20 yrs of recipients. Now he tells us he's fixing the problem. Hypocrisy at its finest.

McCain is down on the list, too. But he's tried passing laws to regulate Fannie/Freddie. What has Obama done?

 

What about McCains campaign advisor Rick Davis getting paid $2 Million by Freddie & Fannie, and still getting paid with our bailout money, for what, being McCains campaign advisor??????? No investigation, no return of funds and McCain has no intentions on making it right. Sounds a lot like the Bush administration.

He's not being paid by our bailout money and it sounds nothing like the Bush administration. On the other hand, Obama's ideas sound quite familiar...
