Need help finding a dog barrier

Hey guys I live in a residential area and have my whole yard fenced in except for 27 ft area where we pull our cars in and out of. The ending of both sides of the fence end perfectly in line and the 27ft gap is in between them.

I want my dog to be able to move around freely while I'm in the yard, so I'm looking to get some type of barrier to cover this gap. If I can find something like a 6 high netting by 27 feet it would be perfect and easy to put up and down, and cheaper then buying a rolling gate.

I have searched the internet high and low and can't find anything with a decent price, some of these sites are asking astronomical prices. I'm looking for something between 100 and 200 dollars. I'm hoping to find something with a thick border and netting between it so I can attach the clips to both sides of the fence and keep it tight. I think this would ideal.

Hopefully someone here can help solve this problem, and I will be really grateful. Any other ideas you guys would have or ways you have solved this problem would be appreciated I'm always open to new ideas, I just thought this would be my cheapest option.

    - Thanks again

    Anthony

Yes, I looked into that, but all I could find was the plastic kind. Do you think this would be good enough to hold up to the stress of the clips on it? This could a serious option and it's pretty cheap also, I was hoping to be able to go with a more sturdy and durable cloth type, but if not this could work.

Here we can get 50-foot rolls of chain link fencing for about $50. (Not sure how much the posts are.) That wouldn't be the most convenient thing for opening and closing, nor would it likely be strong or high enough to hold one of these dogs in high-excitement conditions. But as a temporary measure, we've done it. Dogs always supervised when held by a barrier like that, of course. For a long-term plan, your best bet would be to get some kind of solid privacy fencing.

While not cheap, netting like used in a batting cage may work. Its pretty strong and I believe would hold the clips. Of course it wouldnt be a long term solution as it could easily be chewed through but I do not think a dog could bust through it.

It would be much easier to open and close than chain link.

I would put out cable runs instead of trying to fence the rest in. You can put out as long as you want and as wide as you want. It would cost less and be less of a hassle.

    Thats what I was thinking.

Yeah, this sounds like a good idea, the only time he will be off the chain is when I'm in the yard with him sitting or for cook outs or such. Thats why I'm not going for any long term solutions here, plus I don't plan on living in this residental area for to much longer so a netting will work just fine here.

I have tie outs through out the yard, the whole point is him being able to move without restriction of movement.

I said cable runs, not chain spots. You can make a 100 foot cable run with a 30 foot chain/cable on it. The dog then would have a 100 foot long, 30 foot wide path that they could roam if you desired to make one that large. To me thats pretty damn unrestricted.

    Ferk out
