What color do you like best?

Don't tell my brindle male...but I always loved red/red nose. The deep copper, almost burgundy color.

 

I love Whites and Reds. I love when someone can get a White that doesn't have the common defects of White (skin issues, blind, deaf, dumb, etc.)

i like the black tri color, black and tan with alot of white marks.

 

buckskin brindle is my favorite but dont really care as long as they are a good dog

 

I like the Red's or Tan. If not one of those then the good ole Black with a lil White will do.
( that's if I had to choose for color )

I love everydog I have on my yard, but my favorite color for a pit is Chocolate.

What you don't get is that people will always have a preference. It's not bad or wrong for someone to have a preference, just when they start breeding for this preference to be reoccuring in offspring is when we have a problem. No one is asking, "What color is the best?" the question is, "What color do you like best?". This preference does not mean that these people own only that color, or breed for that color, but simply that that color is easier on the eyes when they see it on a dog.

 

Thats my favorite too. Your dog looks alot like mine. Well what i hope mine will turn out like.

 

I dont see any prejudice and ignorance in answering the question in this thread. Maybe you should widen knowledge and see the real picture...

 

I heard many times that the color of a game dog does not matter as long as the dog is game. When you start breeding for color your not breeding american pitbull terriers.

these atheletes are breed for thier drive not beauty, now if some come not to your so called easy on the eye color, what would you do with it? all im saying is we all know eveyone wants a certain look sometimes but just try and keep it breed specific please! not color specific. do your research into the line you want, make sure you have the best stock you can get, let them mature, see if they are working dogs in the proper manner of course, use patience, cull them correctly and if you done it right , you love your charge not matter what color he/she is. i like all colors not trying to pick a scrap, but there were some wonderful charges that were not so pretty to look at

 

True, I like brindals more than any other color but if I was a breeder, I wouldn't breed for that color only. I fact, right now, I'm not even thinking about getting into the breeding business
