    The "Tuck"

The tuck in the gut, is it possible to attain this without a tredmill? And if so what would have to be done.

    Re: The "Tuck"

If I am not mistaken it is caused by internal fat. The only way I know of getting this “tuck” is by hard work, long walks and working the heart rate.
To get the heart rate up I do flirting every second day for 15 min and every other day walk and run for 1 to 2 hours depending on what I am conditioning for. This has worked for me, not only for the “tuck” but also for lean muscle. I would also like to know what the other members think and what they do. Hope this helps you a little.

I think she looks nice. If she didn't have the little flap of excess skin right between her thigh and belly, it'd be more obvious. That obscures things a bit. Beautiful dog, though. :)

LOL. Yeah, and now I'm glad I kept it. It's come in handy since we upgraded from 1 to 3 dogs. :D

    Re: The "Tuck"

Maybe it has something to do with genetics and I just got lucky, but I just run them for ten minutes let them play tug for ten minutes, let them chase the water hose for 5 and then walk them for fifteen every day plus whatever they do themselves on the chainspot and as long as I don't feed too much they all keep a pretty good tuck. Now if I am conditioning for something special I'll do more, but that's all I do day to day. Hope that's helpfull, but from the looks of it, you seem to have a plan that is working for you.
