How could this be possible? If you put 2 dogs in a trunk they aren't going to sit pretty and wait for you to close the lid. How do you close the trunk with two dogs fighting? Slam it and knock one out or get it's tail stuck and hanging out? Whatever.

Good point there. That tells me this "trunking" thing is a bunch of B.S. Or at least it was until they published this story.. Now you're going to have a bunch of morons read it & say "hey, that's a good idea" & go out & do it. :rolleyes:

You want to know how I figured it was all BS? Right in the article it repeatedly says that "not one arrest was made in trunking'..."hardly anyone knows about it"..."it's not popular",etc. Well, yeah no one heard about it probably because it doesn't happen. And the 1 or 2 times it did, it was probably someone picking up dogs that didn't have a crate, threw them in the trunk to take them home, and they started going at it. He retold the story and then it turned into the telephone game. It started as someone putting 2 dogs in the trunk to take home and ends up being trunk dog fighting 101.

You know there normally is some level of truth to these stories so I wouldn't doubt it completely.

Anyone ever see 2 cats tied by the tails hanging over a close line ? Pretty much it is the same thing and I know the cat thing is real....seen it before.

I do argree with you 100% on that bolded part, I would expect to hear more of this now that it is being spoken about. Sadly when seeds are planted its only a matter of time before a bunch of friggin idiots water them.

Its been done Im sure. They didnt make it ALL up. The thing is, they take one instance and turn it into some "This happens everyday" shit. Pure garbage.

I think that just transporting a dog in a trunk would be cruel. I used to throw my dog in my hatchback when she was a pup but it was the open space of a hatch not a closed in trunk.

I have to agree with you..I have seen more than a few people transport their dog in the trunk of their car,and I would in no way condone it..If you cant make room in the car for a crate then you shouldnt be traveling with your dog..

The media does deserve some of the blame. How can you simpatize with the media after all of the unfair one sided,exagerated, flat out untruths thay have fed to to the general public. The idiots who do some of this retarted Sh%t are also at fault but the Media is just as guilty. Thay will publish any Bullsh$t story, Without checking facts in order to sell more newspapers or bump up there T.V. Rateings. Big Game
