and yeah, i'd keep a real close eye on your yard for a bit. imo, since that dog wandered onto your property, it deserved what it got. hopefully those owners learned something important today....

sorry to hear about beau..I hope he has a speedy recovery...But in the end he probably did do us all a huge favor...I'm just glad the sheriff came out and is going to handle it in the proper manner. And don't let your neighbors get to you...I found out here just recently I was the focus of the neighborhoods last home owners assc. meeting...When they came to me about it...I asked them what the hell they were doing sneaking around my property and walking around in the back of my house to begin with....but albeit I'm now the neighbor with the "blood thirsty killer dogs" and my dogs have never been out of the yard running loose or done anything to any of my neighbors.

But the sad fact of the world is people like these IDIOTS ruin it for the rest of us who try and do right by this breed and any other breed of dog for that matter.I hope everyone there is well in short order.

 

I wouldn't be shocked that if it was on purpose either. 3 guys and not one of them stepped in to break it up ? He was probably bragging to his friends how bad ass his dog was and released it intentionally. I am just concerned that after looking like a fool in front of his amigo's he might do something to repair his ego.

I would want to know everything about this dude just incase something happens to one of my dogs later on down the road.

Question for you Marty, did this dude show any remorse ? Was he apologizing or anything ? If he was /did then maybe it really was just an accident, however if him and his homies stood out front the whole time then i'd be questioning his actions or lack there of.

Marty, all I can say is you are a better person than I am by far. If I would have come home to that, I would have quietly went inside, got my .22 rifle & gave their POS dog a lead injection right between the eyes & threw them the carcass. :mad:

And be careful, those guys might be vengeful and want to do something to your dogs. I hope they learned their lesson and will leave you and your dogs alone. Poor Beau, I hope he feels better soon, glad he's ok.

You might want to get a copy of the police report to have, and to be sure all the info on it is correct. And get the names of the witnesses in case you need them to stand up for you.
