Six Bits x Sorrells

i haven't heard any discussion on this board about this cross, so i was wondering what yall think of mixing the Six Bits Blood into some Sorrells blood. i have had more than one dogman tell me that it was a phenomenal cross. would love to hear some opinions on this as i have a Jeep/Sorrells bitch. she's as cold as antarctica, but it wouldn't be hard to aquire some nice pure Sorrells blood. now this is just my opinion, but i think a lot of people have been doing this for some time as i have seen a few dogs that were listed as Six Bits dogs but were tri-colored. makes ya think..... :cool:

i don't see why it wouldn't have the possibility to work, six bits is basically eli bred and i've heard of the eli/sorrells cross before. The thing is finding some good working sorrells dogs out there

 

I agree,it will work but with the right ones.Saw on another board can't remember which one though.But several think it's a good cross.

 

I think that cross could be great. I wouldnt mind having it.

 

capital city combine did something similar....works good with hammonds blood too. look up tatonka's maximus that one breeding to a hammonds female got a couple winners and a gr. ch I believe??? I get CRS AT TIMES SORRY.

 

I dont mean to sound like a prick or anything....but if you are looking to breed gd bulldogs then why would you want to use a cold dog? I can honestly say that I know nothing about breeding bulldogs but to me... breeding a cold dog is kinda like taking a step back if the end result wanted is game dogs.

Don't let the cold dogs fool you.White's Tru is a clod dog and so far has produced 2 gr.ch. and 1- 2xw.

 

He said he had a Jeep/Sorrell's dog that was cold, not that he was going to breed it.

Sheeeee-ittt! now that's what i'm talking about. and i never said i was going to breed my cold female. but being as she's mine i guess i could. however, as you pointed out, it would go against certain moral beliefs when it comes to dogs.

 

who really knows what works your dogs...if that were the case Tab would of never been bred. But we weren't there maybe Tab was a monster and all the stories are nothing more than fables.... good luck.

Go on guys breed youre cold dogs. Matter of fact breed youre cold dogs to freezing cold dogs. Just adds more credibility to a real dogmans program.lol. Big Game

 

Crunch outpulled a good son of Ch.Hickory for one of those victories..Also if my memory serves me correct,JK wouldnt reconize this dog as a GrCh,or Ch for that matter..CCC wrote in to one of the other publications of the time venting about this..

 

Not saying that I would or wouldnt breed to a cold dog,but Rancherita's Little Gator Rom & StoneCity's Awsome Baby Rom were both cold,and were both FIRST CLASS producers..
