Any shooters here?

Do any of you folks do any recreational shooting?I have been collecting guns most of my life.Chaulk up another bad habit for the politicly correct.I also reload mostly for handguns.One of my favaretes is a colt defender 45acp.I live out in the sticks and have a shooting range out back.I'm working on some loads for a 44mag for deer hunting.Anyone have a good one?

 

I dont have to many guns but just recently you could buy ar15's in cali so i am trying to slowly but surely put one together. I got my lower put together and i was right about to buy an upper but instead spent it all on ammo since the prices started going up so fast. Now i got 1000's of rounds for guns i dont even own. I have been shooting my .270 recently though. I cant wait to get a pig.
I would like to get into reloading someday too though.

 

You can buy an AR15 in cali now? You dont have to be an officer? Any links on that would be appreciated...

 

I know what you mean,I have been trying to save up for an M-1A.I bought a bunch of mags when cheaper than dirt had a big sale,got on e-bay and bought a bunch of .308 brass and no gun!Now I'm waiting for a democrat to get in the white house so the mags will be worth $$.That would be the only thing good about that.

 

sad thing is that a democrat will more than likely win.hillary has stated numerous times that she would love to melt guns and make playgrounds out of it.not much time left to buy high capacity magazines at a decent price.i for one am voting mccain.

 

my personal weapon is a Springfield XD40 SC...i love that handgun. at work i shoot an M249 SAW, and sometimes i shoot an M4 Carbine.

 

The two that I enjoy shooting most are my S&W 41 and my S&W 1911PC.

 

I don't think you can buy an assualt rifle in california, I think that's we he's trying to put it together. I have a little collection myself. Nothing major, 5 semi auto pistols, couple of revolvers, 12ga 18" 870, hunting rifle with a leupold scope. Have more toys to play with at work. We're isued Sig p226. Nice gun, it's dao, so the trigger sucks a bit. I love shootoing though, targets, deer, rabbit..

 

I personally don't own any handguns yet, but my boyfriend and I like to shoot from time to time. He has quite a few. I don't want to list them, because like you said, it's politically incorrect, and I don't want someone coming to take them away, but one of our newer ones is a KelTec P-3AT. We plan on going getting our Concealed Weapons Carry Permit, but haven't done it yet. I am still pretty new to shooting.

 

i have been collecting,,,since i was a youngin,,, when i was 14 i went to work at a pickle processing plant during the summers and my parents let me spend my money on what i wanted and i wanted guns like my dad,,, so at last count i'm at like 46 guns,,, anything from a 7mm mag to a BPS Browning to a mint(in the box) Winchester super X model Number 1 30 in full choke=now keep in mind this is one of the first autoloader winchester made and is mint in the box,,, so i have one or two,,,

 

i like reloading shotgun shells but never got into rifle or pistol shells,,, you can load them hot but if you go to hot then it's liable to scatter the shot faster so you could hurt it if its too hot of a load,,, we'd reload till the brass split,,,lol,, l

 

i do alot of trap shooting and also To target shooting with a rifle. I got a 12 Guage pump Remington anda 270 winchester bold action

I also do freestyle Bow tournaments. Thats fun

 

yea i got a deuce deuce in my shoes for them fools, also i got a remington 20ga pump, savage 270, rem 30-06, hoping to get a 44 revolver in the near future, oh and also a few compound bows and looking to get a crossbow soon

 

i only have 2 right now a s&w mp 40 and a yugo underfolder ak47. im looking to get a sig 556 next.

 

Dont get use to those guns...If Hillary Cuntin is elected you can kiss them all goodbye. Anything with a magazine will be considered an assault rifle and made illegal. Nice huh? She will do away with everything that has to do with firearms over time.

 

My daily carry piece is a Sig P229 in 40 S&W. I only carry what I can trust with my life.

All I got for now is a Mosin Nagant 91/30, single shot 12g that was my grandpa's, Remington 870 Express. Just got paid and am picking up a Glock 23. Next on the list is AK-47. Then hopefully K98 Mauser, M1 Garand, M14, then AR15. I love military rifles. :o

 

I am a big time shooter/hunter/fisherman when i can get the time to do so. thankfully the company doesn't mind me carrying a pistol in the rig since i own it and i am fully liscensed to do so.

But now onto the good load,will you be firing this through a revolver or a rifle?

What type of country are you hunting in, what distances are we looking at on average and what type of game are you going after?

 

i feel you on that one, i trust that XD40SC with my life...it ALWAYS has been reliable for me. i target practice with winchester FMJ, but carry with winchester RANGER JHP

 

My dad has a xd9. I really like the gun but the new m&p looks real nice too. I am a lefty so the ambi. mag release is a nice addition...but i got to keep my girlfriend in my mind because it is for her.
