Just wondering if you guys & gals could give me feedback on how you feel about these two keep schedules:

Keep 1; 4 days of conditioning, one day off, and so on for eight weeks

Keep 2; 1 day off a week, same day every week, example like every sunday for eight weeks.

I am debating on which schedule to follow. I think there is a 3 day difference in regards to off days. I am wondering if the same day off every week is a advantage or dis advantage.

My answer might sound dumb, but i think it will greatly depend of the dog. I am no expert, but I think it is not the dog that should fit to the keep but the other way around. If there was a perfect keep which would work for all it would be perfect. I think it takes a great deal of experience to know which keep to choose for a dog. No offence intended. Anyway, in all keeps you will most probably have to face unexpected things (overexerciced dog, torn pad, muscle soreness etc...) Just be very careful of your athlete all the way.
Without knowing the dog, I would pick the one with the extra resting days. Rest is a great part of the keep not to be overlooked.
Anyway, in the end don't forget the rubbing (at least 15 minutes long after each workout, mouth water the dog before it drinks, after the hardwork make sure it gets some 10 minutes walk to cool down, etc...)
    Good luck.
