There was a thread about Jesse Smith dieing where did it go... something is fishy here!

 

I just did a search because I thought maybe the Rum n Cokes were playin' tricks with ya... but it is gone. My posts are gone from that thread too. Did we ever find out who started that story from that forum? There used to be a crosspost from the guy who started the rumor...? I remember someone crossposted it awhile back from another forum...that was weird. Thread gnomes. Gotta be it.

I believe it was JuckingFerk who cross posted. I clearly remembered that when he said he would cross post replys from here to the other forum he got that information from, he said ferk out....im sure of it.

 

Anyone know the link to the original post from the other forum? I wonder if OT and the guy who originally posted it ever spoke? Did we ever find out how the rumor got started?

 

I looked on another board for it last night and could not find it either.

 

The link to the original post on the other forum is no longer there. The site was shut down a couple of months ago. It was on Gamedogsintact.com. The poster that started the rumor went by Colt 45 over there, and I remember myself, WWII, and Ferk disspelling those rumors over there. I had PM'ed OT and gave him some info on the guy, if I recall correctly. There wasn't much to the OP's thread except that he had some info about his b-day, wife, and supposed cause of death. I confronted "Colt 45" in a few PMs, let's just say OT got updated on any info I got from the guy. Hope this helps out.

Not that I remember. He just kept saying that he talked to his (Mr. Smith) wife and assured us he was dead and all that jazz. Then it just died out.

 

Yeah, it was me cross posting. See what that gets you? I saw the post by Colt 45 on another site I thought i was doing the right thing by cross posting the passing of a friend to many. Sometimes when you try to do the right thing it ends up wrong.

Jr Pit guy is correct as well. Soon as we found out this post was BS we all started calling Colt 45 out on it. Instead of scratching he jumped the wall. That POS wasnt even a rough cur, just one for the cull pile cur.

Yeah i am doing fine thank the lord,and i hope i stay that way for a while.

But what that turned out to be was they was some idiots who on the recomendation of a person i trusted gave a yard tour to.but after i found out what there intentions were i ran them off my property with a pistol in hand.well a day or so later that post popped up and i had a feeling it was a death threat on me,wich it turned out to be.because a while later after i guess they figured i forgot about it me and the wife and a couple friends of mine were driving out of my farm,and as we were going down the road the idiot jumped in front of my truck and the other tried to open the door and he had a knife in his hand. so the other people who were in the truck with us took care of them pretty dang quick.

but thats the entire story on that,but as to why the post is now gone is beyond me. but i tell ya it feels dang great to know that i as a dead man can still be sitting here typing letters on my computer,lol.

 

Glad to hear everything turned out okay. even more glad that you figured out who it was. Hope they got more than they could bite off, I'm sure they did. Crap like that makes folks even more distrustful of strangers.

 

Yeah they are sitting in the jail waiting on the judge to set a trial date and such. i am pressing full charges against them both. odd thing this internet,i just joined to try and help folks and that happened and i was told how folks is always talking about me now at dog functions and such,someone tried to get to look at a friend of mines yard and breed to some dogs by saying i referred them and i talked to them all the time and we were about as close as you could get and i never even talked to them once.

it is a strange world we live in today,and it don't seem to be getting any better.
