Wich pedigree do you like the most?

Just looking for opinions on what ped you like the most and why, if you would choose a puppy from one of theese wich would it be?

You will get better responses if you also disclose some of the goals you have for this dog, and more about what you are looking for in a dog. The virtues that are bred for in a catch dog may be different than those of a family companion, or comformation show dog, or for weight pull, etc.


Personally I like the 1st and 3rd pedigrees best, but it is all about your evaluation of the parents and the individual dogs. Remember that the dog always makes the ped and not vice versa.

 

all peds are damn good blood. Me personally I would get the 2nd one. Sixbits/Maverick blood, one day I hope to get a dog of this fine breeding.

 

Im talking aout a catch dog ofcourse, and please spare me the "its not the ped that makes the dog". I know that already, just looking for opinions on the peds and most importand, WHY you would choose it.

#3, for obvious reasons.

 

Definately #3. Chinaman, Bandit, Frisco... you can't go wrong. I like the Sixbits/Maverick ped, but from what I've heard, you either love the Sixbits or hate it.

Im right there with you man i liked the 3rd one alot until i saw the lonzo stuff and that just killed it for me.

I like that good amount of maverick blood thru El Negro and overall high midnights cowboy blood from different sources, good eli breeding there

 

I like #2 the best for OBVIOUS reasons. looks the best on paper anyway.

I'd look at parent's credintials, but #3 looks like a good cross to me.... Really couldn't go wrong with 1 and 2 either.... all look like well bred dogs as long as they are true....

 

any reason for these particular peds? If having to pick from this selection I'd go with the sixbits maverick pup off the heavy sonny breeding. Not sure of what your looking for but IMO and not to put down any of these breedings or those that stuck any of these dog together but there is alot of options out there for a pup alot closer in gens to sixbits than what has been posted ... You can have a pup grandsired by sixbits/maverick over having one with sixbits/maverick in the 4-5th gen. Not saying a turn out could not be the same with offspring as such and all are fine animals, off-spring by ways of little jerry,sonny boy with a shot of durango is something in itself ....but IMO the closer to the animal you are wanting to get the most genes from the better ....and sixbits was a great rep of heavy boze/bullyson blood. Also take a look at the animals that have been bred which are all great examples of the tight boze eli blood even what comes off nigger toby (yes, i 'm a beliver that he was grandsired by eli). As far as this blood is concerned i would go with those closest to sixbit that are producing and would try and look down the line in the percentages of sixbits first followed by maverick then Nigger toby. The finest dogs bred off sixbits from the yard of clemmons IMO came off breedings of sixbits to black jett (maverick/nigger toby). Some do heavy sixbits, some sixbits to maverick, some sixbits heavy toby dogs and some do the trifecta. Think about what has produced in the past and worked well and try to recreate it. What you plan to do with your animals in none of my business and dont care to discuss it, just giving you an opinion of that particular pedigree and that particuler line. good luck
