I agree completely with you ABK.

  2. Of course... the only concrete thing a pedigree can do for someone that are looking for a performance dog is to show a tendency... nothing more...

That's Patricia's- Mz. Fae. If you'd like to talk to her about the dog or see it's ped, send me a message. The dog is mostly RE (not the new bully style RE) with some other good game blood as well, from what I can remember off hand.

    Faylene... Mz. Fae's daughter

  13. I don't know the dog, but I could see black and tan or tri colored in those markings.

that dog is a blue tri color.... to understand a greyline you have to own a greyline... and trust me they are not worth NOTHING.

all they have are bully traits.... short neck, loose skin, thick skin, lack of angulation, barrel chests, bulkt muscle.

in this pic the doesnt look all too bad but look at its back end how its all thick and bulky... APBT back ends are supposta be light and springy.

some "bully" lines do pop out freaks like this dog now and again.... but they are not worth messin with.

looks is one thing proformance is another.... who wants a corvette with a weed wacker motor?

    :P

Maybe to you. But maybe to the family that cherishes a greyline dog they are priceless.

    Its called Muscle.

    You got first hand experience?

"looks is one thing proformance is another.... who wants a corvette with a weed wacker motor?"

This dog was BRED for looks it was not BRED to preform. If it BRED for SHOW and Excells at SHOW which it obviously does then that fufills the breeders intention. If its not bred for the box even bring up preformance?

Its a bloody BLUE dog. Face it its not black and tan. There is a good looking blue dog here. Applaud the breeder for steering away from the hevier side of the bully type dog. Futhermore this dog is a Show champion. to me this dont mean shit and I couldnt care less but to the breeder this is amazing.

This is true. To the family they are priceless. But as a working dog they are virtually useless.

    Its called Muscle.

I wouldn't call it muscle, I would call it mass. Look at dogs like Chinaman for example. He is a prime example of a conformation correct game dog & he has a muscular rear, not a massive one.

    You got first hand experience?

Some of us may not have "first hand" experince, but the proof is in the pudding. If the dogs could excell at any type of work, performance breeders would be using them to catch, pull, etc.

    But they're not.

Thus far, the only use that has been found for these dogs is as leash oriments.

This dog was BRED for looks it was not BRED to preform. If it BRED for SHOW and Excells at SHOW which it obviously does then that fufills the breeders intention. If its not bred for the box even bring up preformance?

They do not "excell" at shows. Heck I was at a show this March where a bully dog was instantly DQ'ed & very few, if any have points toward anything, to include conformation.

There are some UKC conf. CH. out of the RE lines, but they are not modern bullies we see today.

I agree. The dog looks blue & tan to me, not black & tan. And I also agree that the breeder should be appluded for keeping true to standard!

no its called bulky thick staffy back end... APBT's muscles is never bulky but lean muscle... read the breed standard.

APBT's are not bred for looks... ect.

ABPT's were bred for gameness/proformance nothing else... the ADBA breed standard is built on the perfect fighting dog... they go hand in hand.

this dog is bred for looks and color and has generation and generation of staffy blood in it.... i agree may we all applaud this amazing staffy.

oh may i add they greyline i owned... his grandsire was tested for hip dysplacia and failed, the lady got a replacment pup and the pup failed also..

on his otherside his uncle came down with elbow and hip dyplacia badly.

  19. Based on the pedigree, the bitch has no greyline blood in her. In fact, the top part of the peds of her sire is Razorsedge and the rest, including her dam, comes from various bloodlines not present in the pedigree of greyline and razorsedge. I could only surmise that they descend from gamebred bloodlines.

I see I was wrong about the muscle part. I admit it. Thanks for correcting me.

    ||So why did you buy a pup knowing that?||

I agree but we are not talking about the whole breed. We are talking about this individual dog. Who was bred for show. Like it or not there are show breeders out there and this is a good looking dog to me.
