Signatures

We are in the works of revamping our forum rules to in an effort to help members understand more clearly what is expected of them in order to be a productive member.

Right now a problem we have are with member signatures. Some people have pictures so large that those on dial-up connections have time to cook supper & then eat it before the page will finally load. This is not fair to other members. We are working on a set size for signature graphics, but until then anyone & everyone with a graphic in the sig area needs to make sure it is a small one. If your graphic is larger than your posts-even the long ones-make it smaller.

Another issue with the signature line is that it is being used to push an individual's agenda that they have already been warned about keeping it out of posts. Just because you didn't type it in a specific post, it still gets posted automatically. For example, we are not hear to pass judgement & condemning people to hell in our signatures is NOT allowed. Cussing people out in our signautres is NOT allowed. Signatures containing rude remarks at other members are NOT allowed.

Everyone who this post affects has until 11:00 pm to correct the issue or it will be done for you. And when it's corrected by us, it will be deleted. Period.

I just choose not to view any ones signature, i think i set this my self accidently but since i DO have dial up i guess it helped me out in the long run. I dont see why other "dial upers" cant just do this and it would solve the space and time issue. Just my two cents...

 

I am not sure if ours was too big or not, but I deleted it anyhow....I will wait until you all have guidlines to follow, then see it if fits!

Me too. I hate having a big ol' picture (that I've seen a thousand times) to scroll over in threads I'm trying to read.

My signature size is alright isn't it? I made sure it wasn't too tall or long.

 

Feel free, members, to view Marty's signature as a size reference. The appropriate size should be:
350x129 pixels
again, look at Marty's if you're uncertain as to what this size should look like.

right on! get rid of the monster pics! shit everybody can see a little one just as well. if you need help resizing them just ask somebody.
