I had to laugh

I took Jasmine to the beach today and I saw some young guys with a puppy about the same age as Jasmine. They approached me with there pup and asked if I knew were they could get a puppy like Jasmine is said no. Not wanting to be rude but not really knowing what to say, I then asked if there puppy was a APBT or an AST . This is the funny part They informed me that he was a "Gator Mouthed Pit". A completely different breed of dog than a Pit Bull. I asked if they had papers, they of course didn't. Then they told me that they are different because they are better fighters than a pit and even though they look quite similar the difference is when a "Gator Mouth Pit" is full grown there teeth turn outward. Well I didn't what to argue with a bunch of thugs that I didn't know I just shock my head and smiled but I was thinking what an IDIOT.

Funny cause I would think that the outward turned teeth would make it extremely difficult for the dog to maintain a hold. But hey those guys apparently know what they're talking about, so who am I to say. :rolleyes:

LOL, sounds familar. When someone asks me about babygirl and "what kind of pit" is she? I tell em' APBT and they say, "No, I mean what kind?" . . . I cant think of what else they want to know so I tell em' they she is a Gator bred dog "sorrels/OFRN". Then they say, "Oh man, she's a gator mouth?" "Them dog get huge and have big heads..."

She's is HUGE, all 38-40lbs. of her soaking wet... Shoot I reckon.

LMAO!!I always get that "what kind of pit is that"?I just really dont know what to say.I usually just look at them kind of confused like.Most idiots that ask that question have no idea about real blood so it's kind of pointless to say any blood.Its even worse with my rescue pits,while they are registered I know they are products of byb,so really what do you say?One time I had pink in the car with me and these two guys come up and tell me how nice looking she is.Well one guy asks me the question,and his friend looks at him and is like "duh,dude,she's a rednose"I just told him that was right.Good thing he has that friend to help him out!

 

Yea here in California they say," Wow is that a red nose pit, is she still a puppy?" I usually say, "Yes, at a huge 50 lbs she is only 4 months..." Nestle is almost two and people here think she is too small, idiots.... Here they think that Pitbulls should be 60-100 hybrids..... I hate it....

One of my neighbor kids recently informed me at my pup is "too small to be a pit," and that him and his dad have a "pit farm" where his old man lives, and they run "Bullyson" crossed with this infamous "Gator Mouth Pit"

I've heard that term more than once.

He also told me that the chain she's on isn't thick enough (see pics in gallery), and "if I want her elbows to turn out so she looks bad ass, I need to get a much heavier chain so she has to hold herself up."

Where was this kid months ago? I would be leaps and bounds ahead if I would've known all this shit ahead of time.

Hi guys, im the Gator Mouthed pit and i own you all.

 

you should of given them the name of a good dentist.....LOL

 

When people tell me about their "gator mouth" or even their "gator" dog, I ask them to please go into further detail as there are so many "gator" dogs out there that it is virtually impossible to even guess what they are talking about. Then I start running through all the "Gator" dogs & that pretty much gets them to walk away.

Or just try your best to get some education in there somewhere. Many people just honestly have never been taught by someone who actually knew what they were talking about.

 

I was walking my pet bull once at the park, and a guy walked up to me. He took a good, hard look at my dog and asked "Is that a red nose pit?"

I stared at him for a bit and asked "Are you serious?" My dog has a solid black nose!!

 

I know the feeling I was walking Beaux once and a guy informed me that I probably thought my dog was a red nose but actually his coat was the wrong color( to dark he claimed) to be a red nose.

LOL that's funny shit! I had this dog I had taken off of a guy that was going to be locked up (he lived down the street and was gonna drop the dog off at the pound). I took him with me to the store one day and this guy runs up to be, eyes bugging out of his head frantically yelling "that's the nicest colby red-nose I've ever seen!". WTF? So now this is supposedly a "breed of dog" (yep not a colby, not a red-nose, a colby-red-nose). He was all about adopting him...umm...no. Oh, and this was a white dog, with dark brindle spots and a jet BLACK nose.

 

LOL.I really need that guys help.Sadly,I am so ignorant about pit-bulls,I am not yet able to tell blood just by looking at the dog.
