to my knowledge more for looks but thats just what i know about them.

i do know one guy that has alot of luck with them pulling but thats all that i know that is pulling them as far as game maybe you are looking into the wrong venue. as far as i know true gameness is illegal, but thats just me.

 

Avant bloodline is just another fashion bloodline. It's a dog bred for show, not go. I have a cousin who is starting a kennel of Avant blood.:o I had babysat one of his pups for about 2wks and she had no spark to her. She was rather thick for her age and gender. Her paws for freaking huge too.

Best advice I can give you is to stick around here or on another APBT forum and read, read, read.

 

i do believe the same as this guy although i have seen two different types, most are short and extremely wide while the other one is from what i seen a working type build and very good at working, so i guess it depends on what you are looking for some are short and wide and others can be working type dogs, i know of people that have either one..

 

can those short wide dogs do anything at all? I seen one today up town when I went to the MC club house and that sucker kept having to set and take a breather. I feel bad for the darn things.
