I seen it too but it is a different collor than what I have been seeing with the bully dogs.

I have been in the bull dogs for a very long time. I refuse to pay more than 400 for any dog. I don't give a shit what colour or who had it. But I have all I ever will want or need. I have brought on two new dogs in the past few years and that will be it for as far as I can see.

I got a white dog too, red under tones, Not going to breed her. Not interested in the color. But she is no cull that is fur sure.[/QUOTE]Same with Chloe,no breeding but she's a damn good bulldog.I picked her out when she was just a few hours old.Didnt give a damn about the color. The bitch had some beautiful Chocolates and one other white.I didnt pick on color though,as soon as chloe was born I knew.It was cool I got to be there from the begining so this bond we have is just incredible, well sorry now I'm rambling, back to the blues!

I was gone for 3 days and boy did I miss alot.

LOL Thats why I said I was just asking. And I AM listening hence the words on that post I am not argueing I am asking. Meaning I wasn't disputing what 14 said I was asking 14 a question.

Like I said I am new to diciphering (sp?) pedigrees. I know he has Staff in him. And I know he is scatterbred. I was going on what some1 that I had look at his ped told me. And again thats why I said I was asking. And thank you for helping me.

And again like I said he is somewhat of a rescue. I NEVER thought he was PURE Game. A novice like myself to pedigrees can easily see that. BUt what I do see is those dogs in his ped. And thats why I was asked.

Regardless I love him. And I still plan on getting him in weight pulling. And again thanks for helping me better understand pedigrees. Thats why I joined this site.

And as far as the people making fun. I am a big girl it takes more than some1 online to hurt my feelings. ANd I go by this saying There is never a dumb question. If you never ask you will never know. And remember at one time you did not know as much as you know now. Every one has to start somewhere. And I am glad I found this site with more seasoned ppl on here to learn from!

Don't worry about it Cynthia. What it looks like to me is that your dog was bred specifically for the weight pull division. The Falin's dogs are commonly used in weight pull.

All I have to say is, if your getting a new pup and there happens to be blue ones in the litter, make sure you do even more extensive reasearch on the pedigree.

I spent two days talking with the old man I got my dark blue dog from, the only one in his litter of all whites and seals. Came out of a solid white working male and a light chocolate female. The sire is a working dog bred from John Dunn's yard who is a best to best breeder, whether it was green, blue, red or yellow. The dam is off a breeder named Charles Freeman Jr. here locally. That's where I found the first dilluted color, my dog's grandfather, Freeman's Blue Mack Slim. This is my dog's ped http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/public/printPedigree.php?dog_id=230913
Blue Mack Slim is the grandfather on bottom half. Blue Mack Slim was from a fluke breeding that was solely for money. He is out of Clemmons' Big Easy to a show dog bitch. The owners of Easy did the breeding for money and didn't expect anything big out of the litter. One dog(Slim) was kept and noted around here and turned out to actually be a damn good bulldog with some OTCs. One of the few working blue dogs around here that I was talking about. There's folks on this board that can vouch for that. He was a 50% Clemmons/50 PR dog.

I was talking with the old man I bought my dog from here recently and was showing him how he has progressed and another man who had offspring off that Blue Mack Slim dog said my dog looked like a replica of that dog.

Then the old man Hardin(man I got my dog from) told me somethin I never forgot. I told him how people around here and at shows don't take a likin to blue dogs. He said it's been like that for years. He looked at me and asked me if I like that dog, does he work and would I keep him. I told him yea. He said that's all that counts.

Yea I heard that before that blues do not do good in shows. And that people(APBT) do not like them and they think they are mixed. Shoot my Dad was like WTF you get a blue for. They aint good for nothing. LOL

Mike is my first and I got him from a friend that could not affort to treat him when he was sick. And I took him (and his papers). Like in previous post I have am a sucker when it comes to taking in and treating dogs and cats. I usually find homes for then but I have kept 2 Mike and my mutt Isa.

I haven't bought a pup yet. And when I do I will research it fully. Thanks for the advice. I am soaking it all in like a sponge.

Again it is funny to me that some ppl feel the need to "make fun of" but I do appreciate all those who may shake their head and smile but at least they take the time to explain.

i wouldnt say any dog is good for nothing they all make good pets blue or whatever color..and any dog you save is a great thing..my thing its not so much the dogs but the people who own them..its a puppy not a pay check;) and im giving you rep points just for the research you do..

Yea I agree. I hate it when ppl come into work and do not want to get their animal spayed and neutered. These ppl are not showing or doing anything with the animal it is a pet. And most do not meet standard. Like 1 with a 18pd 22in long yorkie. But wants to breed it. ALL mine are fixed except Mike who I plan on pulling but I am waiting till he is 2 because I want to OFA him. And make sure he is healthy enough to do it. And if it doesn't work out or he doesn't do it I will neuter him. I do not want to breed.

And yes I hate to say it but I do have sucker written on my forehead. I just had 2 pups that were the only survivors out of a litter of 8 that died of parvo. That I placed in homes.

And I agree with you I wouldn't say that a dog is worthless because of color. But my dad has been around APBT before I was born and I am almost 31. And he is old school and set in his ways. LOL

Yep, game dog fun shows don't care too much for blue colored dogs since most people are so brainwashed by the fads that they stereotype all blue coated APBTs.

I got a lot of slack for bringing my dog. One guy was telling me how much better off I'd be at the NKC shows. My dog has a great conformation but his color throws the crowd and even judges off.

I gathered a crowd and turned alot of heads, though when I turned him loose on the hangtime event and he hung with the best of em'. I had a lot of mixed responses after that and was asked to return with him. Then again there was still those die hard fans that no matter how hard, driven, eager and conformationally correct my dog was, that color was not going to sit right with them.

    Like I tell everyone, don't judge a book by it's color..er cover.

i have a AKC amstaff that is he is 17in and 55 lbs on a good day, i also have a tight breed t-n-t female. i just want to clear up that greyline/ dela cruz ARE NOT staff lines they are UKC lines they have alittle staff in them but there not staff , there arent hardly any AKC dogs that even get 90lbs, im not taking anything from anyones dog but, dont blame it on the staff that your dogs so big , you might wanta look at your dogs pedgree and look for bigdog aka (weightpuller) blood. i love them all though delacruz , greyline, ganghuis kaun
