you see if you can pull yourself outta your (bully)self

    3 more from Elite edge-

    1. I think they are beautiful. But personally, I would goto jail for having a dog look like that in my area. There is really no sense in a dog being so thin. They can still have the same muscle tone with a little more fat on them. I always feel sorry for the dogs that look like that though. I feel like they are being neglected in the worst ways possible. :(

    2. where im from animal control would have taken him and charged me with animal cruelity that dog look emaciated

    3. I can say 100% that a well conditioned dog like that isn't emaciated at all, they're actually very, very muscular dogs, but the muscle fibre on a dog like that vs. a bully is different, bullies have really short bulky muscle so you can condition the dog the same way and the muscles will all stick out while these dogs have a different type of muscle fibre and will never be able to bulk up like that...sort of like the difference between a bodybuilder and a runner... also the "ribs" you're seeing on most of the dogs is actually a layer of muscle over them and not the actual ribs.

  9. Could you post links of the sites you are posting the pictures on I would like to see aswell.

Marty said we could post Lil Bit...you said you had a good pic of her....can you post it, we also need to get the link to Marty so he can see the response

  12. Other then the longest run on sentence on earth great response.

Bottom line-what are the bully breedres doing to preserve the breed?
Sure you can argue that the preservation is irrelevant because they no longer provide their original intent but still......they dont breed for health, temperment and liekto breed for color.....and I'm saying as a whole I know there are soem exceptions but they have a whole lotta health problems as well.
In addition us real game dog owners are tired of getting backlash from teh lack of respect they haev for our dogs. To have "homeboy" down the street tell me my pit aint shit cause she's ONLY 65lbs....way over the breed standard is infuriating

Bottom line, and the subject of this post, looks like the feedback about Game-dogs is very interesting...wouldn't you say. This post is about what we thought of Diesels pictures and what the Bully community thinks of a game-dog picture....what are your thoughts on that?

  15. I posted my thoughts. Their opinion is worth the same as shit on my shoe. Thats like a fisherman asking Red Lobster resteraunts what they think of fresh fish, haha.

And the old Time Bulldogs were here before game dogs so what? I don't see you crying about that. They are calling the dogs American Bullies, have started thier own registry with a standard, have thier own clubs, and thier own shows. What the fuck is there left for you to complain about?

  17. ABK

    ABK Rest In Peace

I figure if they call the dog what it is, register it as what it is (American Bully, NOT a pit bull) have their own clubs, standards & shows, it's all good. Let them go do their thing. It's only when they protray their dogs as "pit bulls" that I get irritated.

Well then we appreciate your feedback......but it is the subject of this post, I understand your grave dislike of the bully.....why don't you start another post and carry the flag forward there, I promise I won't disrupt your displeasure

  19. I'm complaining that they still call them pit bulls. I'm complaining that they are mutts who have added to the tainted reputation and my dog is getting judged on it. I'm complaining because a majority of the owners are irrepsonsible and lack repsect.....such as your potty mouthed self. Your a awesome example of that

breeding for color is virtually done. the biggest (insert "most expensive") dogs ate not even blue. I am not saying it doesnt still happen, but its not what it once was. Breeding for build and size is still pretty common. as i earlier stated where having the shortest dog was at one point a big ego trip... now its leaning toward the most ripped dogs. headsize is even falling by the wayside. its still mentioned but nothing like it was like 3-4 years ago.

There are certain breeds that REQUIRE a bitch be health tested prior to a breeding or at least a negative B-test. (its a start)
Dna Profiling, and hips are becominf more common too.

I am not here to sway anyone, that is really not my place, nor do I think you should change your mind. APBT was first and to some extent it needs die hard enthusiasts to stay alive. But this wall that is going up between people who when BSL passes are ALL effected needs to get chipped away at.

If nothing more then to squash the occasional myth or to debunk a stereotype then hey thats what I do.

As far as people not thinking your dogs are APBT chalk that up to stupidity... MOST of the people in the US are of lower than average intelligence.
its the way this country is run... we encourage people to be lazy and dumb and live off the system. Sucks to deal with the public but what can you do?
