ramblings on why i love this site

i have been a member of this site since 2005,a good long while.
i have pissed people off,people have pissed me off,but its all good in the end.
theres always something going on here,good ,bad always fun.ive learned alot in my time here.but ive come to realize this is the best damn site ever,,all the people here,except those few morons who god should have deleted in life,,are great,fun to talk with on these threads,,i see alot of love going round on this site. so thanks to the creators of game-dog for giving us dog people a place to converse,cos theres no better people to be around than dog people like everyone here.

 

Better to be pissed off than pissed on, that's what I always say..LOL

I agree. I am so glad I found this site. I have learned alot. It is nice to see all aspects of a subject and draw your own opinion.

And Suki I agree it does draw you in. LOL!

 

Oh yeah, I'm an addict...Its like a family...sometimes a dysfunctional one (J/K)...but family nonetheless!!!

 

I agree with SUKI and ChiaPit. This is my homepage and the first place I log into when I get on the computer. I have learned more on this site in 2yrs. than I have in my 38yrs. on this earth.

 

My little brother, says "every time I see you on computer you're on game-dog.com," lol I spend a lot of time here, this site the best resource and will teach you a lot.

Unfortunately, there still remain a select few animal extremists and so-called "game doggers" who do not like to see "all aspects" of certain subjects and chooses to reprimand users who do not conform to their way of thinking. Maybe one day it will be as blissfully perfect, but one could only hope. Lol :p

 

This is a great site. This is the first forum i visit when i get online. Ive learned alot from it and continue to. Alot of great members as well. Keep up the good work Marty and Shon!

Well, Now that I know how everyone feels about "Petbulls" I'm not sure I want to hang around, It's a shame too cause I like this site..I'm on 4 others and this is the only one that is active and guaranteed a response within 10 minutes..

Dude(ericschevy), who cares how others feel regarding what you do with your dogs. If you are content with your involvement with the breed then that is all that should matter to you. The majority of the so called "real dogmen" here ain't worth SHIT and their knowledge is, well it shouldn't even be called knowledge. Some just repeat what others who are just as lost as they are say.

 

I have to agree that this is one of the best forums on the 'Net. I passed it over a few times & came here by chance when it came up as a hit for some info I was looking for. I met some great folks here & have learned some very helpful things. Once I became a member I visited (& continue to visit) almost every day, often many times a day. I am a GD.com addict! :p

As for the pet bull thing, I find the pet bull ppl OK, the only thing I don't like is when they don't realize what they have (a pet bull is not the same as a pit bull) & get too pushy.

But if they want to come here & hang out, share their dogs & share their knowledge I have no problem w/ that. Even if their dog is not a game bred dog, they can at least learn about what a game dog is & share in the heritage of our dogs b/c, although some would rather die than admit it, even the most dreaded pet bull goes back to pit bulls!
