Just checked the NOAA website. Now they're calling for 20"-30" and are likely going to upgrade us from heavy snow warning to blizzard warning. They are calling for snowfall rates of 6" per hour tomorrow, accompanied with thunder! Gotta love that thunder snow!! Then the temp is supposed to drop below zero tomorrow night with wind chills reaching "dangerous levels". So, I'm off to pick up more kerosene, lol.

We had tree litter in the yard and dog areas that was 2 to 3 feet deep...This was ONE TIME that living in the woods was a BAD THING...totally INSANE! Looks terrible ??? Hey it looks great now compared to a couple of weeks ago...LOL

We had about 1" of snow here a few weeks ago but it's been in the high 50s and 60s for the past few days.

  8. We have about five or six inches of snow but it has been super cold (all below zero) for the past couple weeks. This week it has finially begin to warm up with it being in the 20's. The dogs love the snow but hate the cold because it means that I have to put jackets on them.

We got some snow this year here. Time to move about 12 hours west and 36 hours of driving south from that point. Belize or Honduras I am thinking.

Its been about 15 degrees this week, feels like summer compared to last week. Snowed quite a bit last night, I finally got to bed around 6 A.M., out towing one car after another last night (this morning). 45 mph gusts of wind, and about a foot of new snow fell this morning, some of the dogboxes were nearly completely covered in snow drifts!

  11. Holy Cow......just checked the weather for the weekend and it appears that we might get a little snow mixed in with some RAIN :(
Go figure.....I love the snow, the dogs love the snow, why can't it just snow?

Hell lets go hunting down in south Texas and get away from that shit. I will come get you. It will be in the truck not the Mustang. But maybe we can pick it up here where there isn't any ice on the roads. lol

That is what my family has been telling me. My grandma (87yrs old) told me that it has been on average -17 dgr F. and often below -25 at night. I don't see this global warming the tree huggers keep talking about at all. shit that is sickning cold. Frost bite in less than three minutes cold. Pee freezing before it hits the snow cold. lol My cousins kids have to wait for a bus in that crap. Not me. I only visit in the warm season. Have to put a heated sock over my nads and johnson.

Powder-looks similar to here, if you replaced the beautiful trees with ugly, picked-up corn fields! I'll sell you some corn to plant, if you sell me a house at the end of that lane, with that view coming down the driveway! :D

I was woke up at about 1:30am to the sound of sleet pounding into my windows and back door. Then woke up at 5:30 to a wonderland of about 5 inches or more of snow with about 1/2-3/4 inch of ice on top. Joey had to kick the back door open to get out to work. I had to chisel through the ice to dig the fence gate open so the dogs could pee. They were walking on top of the snow! They were doing zoomies and sliding across the yard. It was quite a site. I'll see if I can get some pics of them this afternoon.
