Am I missing something??????

I am a member of Myspace. I frequently post pics of my rescue dogs on my page and list an ad for adoption in the Myspace Detroit classifieds under "pets". I noticed that there is a person who is a pitbull "rescue" always posting ad for dogs. If you follow the attached link to their page, it has pics of all kinds saying to spay/neuter. There is a pic of dead pit pups on a table and the caption reads "Please stop breeding pits" or something to that effect. They say that they will take pups, adults, pregnant females, etc. In their pic section, on their page, they have a pic of a male pit that they "rescued" and he is now their "forever" dog. He is 1 year 2 months old. When I checked those classifieds today, they have an ad up wanting to stud him out!!! They don't want a stud fee, just pick of the litter!!! Am I crazy or am I just missing something????

If you could, check out their page and their classified ads (Myspace, classifieds, Detroit, pets) and let me know if I'm crazy or these people are just wrong !!

 

If what you say it true, there is an apparent conflict of interests there. But if you have any questions about it, you could contact them & ask them ...

Probably more fitting to say it sounds more like a trap. A trap sounds like a loud click when you get in it. Around here a cop isn't always a police officer it can be just the one setting the trap or putting bait out. No matter what it is, that is not something someone should mess with.

After looking at this page, I think I know who these people are. They are on the DNA list (Do Not Adopt) almost all across the country as they take in dogs as "rescues' & then turn around & sell them. They do nothing of the sort in terms of spaying/neutering dogs. They also breed these dogs & sell pups.

I have no reason to believe this is some sort of "cop" sting....come one, the police are smarter than to pose in this way which would not yield any results other than people giving him/her dogs.

I also wrote them, and did get a reply of "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?".

I finally recieved a reply today about their ad. I was told that they didn't place the ad, that someone deleted their myspace, that someone else did it, and that they do believe in spay/neuter. I'm not sure, but at least I got a response. At least they realize now that people are watching.
